I am a paper crafter but I use a stitch unripper to help me lift the back from double sided tape when I have gel nails on. I previously had the smaller version of this but dropped it and the lid cracked and no longer stayed on so it didn't nestle in my hand the way it did before as it was shorter. I decided to get this bigger one instead. The quality is really good, it is very sturdy but I wasn't expecting it to be so big, it is about 5 inches long and about as thick as a lipstick. I do really like it and I will be able to make good use of it but I bought another smaller one for using with double sided tape as it is much defter, I find the bigger one slightly more awkward for that purpose and it was slowing me down. The smaller one is only about half an inch shorter but it is much thinner, more like a pencil. That being said if you are looking for a good sturdy stitch unripper then I absolutely recommend this one, when I decided to replace my broken one I didn't even shop around, came stright on here and searched for another Prym one, really impressed with the quality of them.

Bought for DD as I have one already, and she was using mine. She is a fashion student and does a lot of sewing, for Uni as well as personal, so ideal for her.Very comfortable to hold, not like the small ones you get, easy to manoeuvre and doesn't give you an achey hand afterwards (unless you use it for hours on end, then you might!!)

I got this for removing hair trapped around the roller on my vacuum cleaner and it works well. Also used it to get hair out of the plughole. Yuk!

I think I like this seam ripper because it seems slimmer and sharper than all the others in my collection (I have 8). This is easy to hold and use and the point works its way under thread easier than the chunkier ones I have. I would recommend it!

Endlich ein scharfer und ergonomischer Nahttrenner
Wer näht kennt es sicherlich: Einmal nicht aufgepasst und schon muss man trennen. Ich habe lange den im Lieferumfang meiner Nähmaschine enthaltenen Nahttrenner benutzt und mir jetzt endlich diesen von Prym gegönnt. Es ist wirklich ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Das Ganze liegt gut in meiner - für Frauen recht großen - Hand, lässt sich Dank Deckel sicher verwahren, sieht schön genug aus für eine offene Lagerung in einem Stifteköcher und er ist scharf! Man unterschätzt absolut, was für einen Unterschied ein scharfes Werkzeug macht. Die Nähte lassen sich deutlich leichter auftrennen. Das ist letztendlich auch für den Stoff gut, da man weniger daran herumzerrt und dadurch keine Löcher oder ausgeleierten Maschen im Stoff riskiert.
