Impressed, used a couple of times now, so far so good, made winding and pushing back pistons eazy work, maybe lucky pistons weren't totaly siezed but hard to tell as this gadget held up to the job well,

Have had this for about 4 months and have only just got round to using it as the weather has improved enough for car jobs. I wanted to change both front sets of brake pads. On the first brake it worked well pushing the caliper piston back in to make room for the new pads. However, when I came to use it on the other side it refused to work. I noticed that the mechanism is a sort of rudimentary ratchet very similar to that in use in caulk/silicone sealer applicators. So I aim to roughen up the shaft of the extender with a file or some such in order to create the friction to enable ratcheting.

It does work well eventually brand new out the packaging onto a caliper and the spring went down but didn't come back up to carry on sprayed it with wd-40 left for a little while and worked very well on the other side so far behaving and working how it's meant to
