I bought my DigiDuck for my ice bath, and it's fab, it gives accurate readings and is exactly as described. Tap it against your palm to turn it on!!The second day of use the product didn't seem to turn on (this was my error, as I hadn't tapped it on my palm, as per the instructions that I had failed to read). I contacted TensCare, and Stacey was really excellent - she was getting prepared to send me out a replacement product when I realised that it was a me issue, not a duck issue!

I never had this with my first baby and I retreat my life. This has made it so easy and takes the guess work out.Tap on the palm of your hand to ‘activate’ and pop into the bath - it tells you if the water is too cold or hot.One thing however is I found the ‘advisable’ temperature seems a bit high for a newborn so I aimed for a degree lower and it felt better. All in all still use your judgement but great gadget and super cute works as a floaty duck in the bath too

I don’t know what has happened, we have used our original duck every night for about 3 years with no problem until the digital screen stopped working. We ordered a replacement and it didn’t float straight and was wonky when you put it in the bath and now the next replacement is the same?!! Really frustrated to have to send another one back

Ok, so it's a duck with a thermometer on its back. What can be said about this bathtime friend that hasn't already been said? Well, let me start by saying that this is the second one that I've bought and the first one was so good I've bought it again! The only reason for buying another one is that duck#1 had started to look a bit tired having been used regularly for over two years. I've got to be honest and say that I can't remember if I ever changed the battery in that one but if I did it wouldn't have been any more than once. I can therefore confirm that this product is built to last and I'm also happy to report that it works exceptionally well.Some other reviewers have reported that they've had issues with the duck listing (tipping over) or that the readout doesn't always work or is inaccurate. I can only speak from personal experience and say that this hasn't happened to either of my ducks. Admittedly, I had to encourage the display to come on by rubbing the sensors a couple of times with duck#1 but I suspect that was more as a result of limescale build up than anything being faulty with the product.My son loves this duck and lines it up alongside his magnetic ones like a surrogate non magnetic sibling. I can therefore also vouch for its robustness as the magnetic ducks usually end up 'flying' out of the bath onto the floor.In summary, this duck is built to last and it's very accurate. The only reason that it loses a star is that the battery compartment, as another reviewer has observed, is a complete PITA to open! I'm sure there were justifiable safety reasons for designing it this way but it's difficult to open.At this price it's replaceable though and if this one lasts for another 2 years I'll be very happy.If you've found this review to be helpful please click on the button below. Initially it worked well, but it broke quickly and started showing inaccurate temperatures. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it.
Juguete y termómetro
The media could not be loaded. Bonito diseño de pato típico y tradicional. Es un termómetro, se enciende fácilmente dando un golpecito en la paloma de la mano, se apaga automáticamente. Aparece en una pantallita la temperatura y un pequeño piloto rojo se enciende si el agua pasa de 37 grados.
Very cute, but water gathers inside and makes it tilt
The duck is very cute. The first time it worked just fine and floated straight on the water. However, every time a bit of water gets trapped inside, and is impossible to get out, which means that it is soon laying on its side and eventually it will sink. By making a small hole in the beak I can now get the water out and it works okay.

The duck works well. It is in Celcius not farenheight so you have to figure the tempature out.
Anschlagen in der Hand und alles ist super
Bestes Thermometer in der Badewanne. Im Angang war es nur als "Witzelei" gedacht, aber es liefert zuverlässig die Temperatur für die Badewanne und damit hat es das "klassische" Thermometer für unser Kind im Wasser ersetzt.Anklopfen in der Hand und binnen Sekunden ist die Temperatur ablesbar auf dem Display. Funktioniert sogar zuverlässig unter dem einlaufenden Wasserstrahl in die Badewanne.
