Have a Lab pup who is a very fast eater. Maybe that’s normal or maybe it will lead to digestive problems over long term but either way I wanted to slow down the madness! This product was excellent. It’s sturdy, easy to clean, and the pup can, eventually, get all the food (I only use pellets).And most importantly the pup doesn’t mind either. She thinks it a game to get all the pellets.

This is a well made product that does what is supposed to do, which is to slow down the time it takes your dog to eat their food. However, the one we purchased has only lasted 1 month! Our labrador puppy has managed to chew through it due to the enthusiasm of trying to get his food out. Other than this issue, the bowl has served it purpose well. We are going to try a different style bowl from the same brand to see if this happens again. I don't think that this is a design flaw as such, more to do with the strategy my dog used to get his food out. I would also suggest that you evenly distribute the food around the bowl rather than place it in the areas where it is harder to get to, like the centre, for example.

This is so good. My labrador was eating so fast that she was making herself sick and not actually absorbing her food - pretty gross! This was easy to use and easy to spread the food out. Mabel loves it, it gives her a bit of a challenge and slows her right down. I now have time to make my own breakfast before she is after more food. Definitely worth the money and I would absolutely recommend this. Unlike others, it does stay in place as well instead of sliding all over the kitchen.

I got one of these for my other dog but in a bigger size, my little dog would eat his dinner quicker to see if he could get in on the action..Little dog is now very happy chasing and licking food around. Definitely slows them down a lot

Bought this for our 20kg working Bearded Collie and it really slows him down, of all the 'licky' mats & bowls he has this definitely slows him down the most - from inhaling his complete raw meal in 30 seconds to licking and chewing approx. 30 minutes. I put his fish oil supplement in the middle ( if I put it on top of his meal it ends up sticking to his beard ) then press the food down firmly on top. This bowl does not have much in the way of sticky bottom to stop sliding but it doesn't slide much - if I fed him kibble it would probably not slide at all. He recommends this bowl and so do I

My dog is a StaffyX but is the side of a Labrador, she’s food oriented and is an aggressive chewer. They’re super sturdy, easy to clean (dishwasher safe which is my fave) and the rubber underneath goes all around the bowl - it still moves around the floor but not as much as a some other slow feeding bowls I’ve bought.This bowl is ok but let’s face it, it’s just a bowl and there’s only so much a bowl can do - that’s not the bowls fault. My girl is smart and LOVES food, so she still kind of inhales her food from these bowls, just in 2 minutes instead of 1. I’ve instead switched to freezing her food on a Tuff LickiMat which takes her 15/20 minutes to eat instead of 2 minutes. This helps reduce the chance of bloat too as she has a barrel chest.

Our labradoodle usually manages to eat his food within about 30 seconds or so, this is with the use of another ‘slow feeder’ bowl bought on Bolo. He is sometimes sick after eating as a result.This bowl has slowed him down to six minutes and seems a big improvement.The bowl is sturdy and doesn’t slip, as mentioned in other reviews. Only slight quibble is that it is pretty big, but I recognise I could have purchased a smaller size that is available. Would definitely recommend!

Es lo máximo para mi bulldog francés, lo único es que es medio tedioso lavarlo por los cuadritos, pero en verdad está muy práctico, y el precio está bastante accesible en comparación a Petco o a tiendas de mascotas comerciales.

My 4-5 mo pup has suddenly wanted to start eating meals in two bites! This bowl takes several minutes to work the food out. Good quality bowl with non-skid feet. Two birds with one stone preventing bloat and providing enrichment. 💙
