These cables are very good and I'm more than happy with the picture quality from my desktop computer to my HDTV.Reading some of the reviews on here I'd like to say to those who are not familiar with cables that the VGA cable only conveys a picture signal, No sound! You'll need an HMDI cable which will convey both the Picture and sound but these VGA cables are for the graphics/picture signal only. If you really need a VGA cable then you may want to include a 3.5mm sound cable which comes with a variety of different connectors at either end. (Male speaker jack connections at both ends in my case). One end of the sound cable plugs into the green socket (sound) on the back of my computer and the other end of the cable goes to the speakers that I want to use which also have a 3.5mm socket. Both type of cables work well together, no lag or delay.Please research if your devices have the correct sockets for the cable you intend to buy. It's easy to make mistakes so knowing the difference between RCA, VGA, HMDI, SCART etc will help you make the right choice of cable for your setup. I also found it to be a good idea to order a longer cable than I actually needed especially if your devices are quite a distance from each other. I ordered a 10m, VGA cable as my devices are far apart from each other and picture quality over the distance remains excellent.

When it comes to cables, you have a plethora of choices.I wanted to connect my laptop to the plasma TV. The problem was that I needed a long run of cable. I could have gone for a 3 meter length, but the wife was't too keen on the idea. It made the living room look 'untidy'. Funny, I didn't see it that way, but I did pick up on the potential tripping hazard. Anyway, I had to get the 10m length, this narrowed down the choices available.I decided to buy the Cable from KabelDirekt. An interesting choice of spelin. The cable arrived promptly. A thick diameter cable generally indicates a sign of good quality. It was easy to secure the cable using the rotating screws.The metal connectors have 24K gold-plated contacts. The cable is double shielded throughout and the copper used is oxygen free. OFC is normally found in high end cables. However it does not state the purity of the copper. There's not much more to be said that hasn't been said already. I did not experience any problems with lag etcOn a side note, when I purchased my top end home theater system, I was advised to buy the best cable I could afford. I was told the cables that come with the system are generally low end and poor-quality. Such cables can't deliver the performance the system is capable of producing. I use the same analogy when buying computer cables.This brings me to another point. The same can't be said for HDMI cables. VGA cables carry an analog signal as opposed to a digital signal. HDMI cables stream digital video and audio simultaneously in the same cable. A 'standard' HDMI cable can run up to 15m without any signal loss. Don't be duped by pretentious salespersons, purchase the cheapest HDMI cable, plug it in and enjoy.If the product is unworthy of a good review, I think it is unfair to leave positive feedback as this can mislead potential buyers.
