The media could not be loaded. Used a bamboo steamer for the first time and it was easy to use and easy to clean. I made bao buns and lined them with baking paper to protect the bamboo. The two tier basket was helpful in batch cooking and cooked the buns to perfection. The basket is sturdy but I am unsure how long it was last due to bamboo already detached in some corners. Worth the price paid for next day delivery to satisfy my craving for delicious bao buns filled with Korean style chicken 🤤

This steamer is easy to use. The smell is quite strong and after boiling in water twice (a bit of a hassle I think), it was still too strong for my liking but I used it anyway. It did go away after 2-3 uses. With careful, almost daily use, it came apart bit by bit and then completely after about 2 months, so not very durable. If you want something cheap(er) to try out steaming- a very healthy cooking method- then this would be a good choice. It fits reasonably small sized bowls in its two compartments, so you don't have to use cabbage leaves to line it. I almost bought more so I could steam with more layers but it had come apart by then.

Very sturdy steamer and I wouldn’t be without it now.I use it along with my 18cm pot and it’s a perfect fit.There are two compartments plus a lid.So easy to use. Boil some water in pan and add your vegetables into the first compartment. You can use that along with lid but you may want to use both compartments depending on how much is being cooked.Also can be used with different timings ie hard vegetables first and then add another tier for softer vegetables.It does get very hot though and care should be taken when removing it from pot.

This is nicely made and fits well in the pressure cooker.I suggest scrubbing it very well before use and I needed to soak mine in bleach to kill moths.Still a good buy.

Bei Kontakt mit Wasser verzieht sich Holz logischerweise. Preis-Leistung ist m.E. auch super, daher 5/5*Die ersten selbstgemachten Dumplings waren fantastisch!
