Description The STP reg; Diesel particulate filter cleaner is a fuel additive for filter regeneration. FBC contains organic-metallic molecules that burn in the engine. Metal atoms turn into metal oxide and mix with the soot particles. The soot in the DPF is catalyzed by the metal oxide particles: rapid combustion. By using FBC you have a lot less to worry about in city traffic. The main difference with FBC: when the traffic light is red, the fire is not extinguished the combustion of carbon with FBC in the DPF is similar to a fireworks display . Much less likely that the filters will be damaged by soot. be clogged: rapid combustion thanks to FBC. Occasional spurts or strong acceleration trigger rapid burnout.
