    As someone with only one kidney from birth it has always been imperative that I monitor my kidney function. While I do see my GP twice a year for a full blood panel this test is perfect for in between if I have been ill or if I feel like I am not functioning fully. Rather than having to do extra blood work I can monitor at home and maintain my peace of mind.

    My doctors could not find out why I had burning back pain. This test got them to take me seriously as abnormal results were varying at different times of the day. Because of these tests I got an ultra sound and help.

    Repeat purchase. I find this very useful as a guide to keep an eye on kidney function. Does not replace expert medical diagnosis. Cannot comment on the accuracy compared to other products.

    In the packet there is a large sheet of instructions, detailing 3 different kinds of kidney function metrics, and another small piece of paper showing 3 sets of coloured squares, indicating what the colours on the test strips, after the test is carried out, mean. But you only get one strip in each packet, with 3 colours on it. I used that and I am still unclear which of the 3 tests it is appropriate to. Moreover, the CRK test, which is the most critical protein test, is only measured rather crudely, ie it is not precise. Waste of money.
