5.0 out of 5 stars The Neapolitian Monarch of Beans
Super beans, give me just the perfect coffee combined with a burr grinder and a moka pot. Love the aroma cold and it's even better once the coffee is brewed. Perfect.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very strong coffee
To be honest for me it's so strong and a bit bitter. I prefer a bit lighter.
4.0 out of 5 stars I’m a coffee snob!
I’m a huge coffee snob and always buy quality Crema beans. My usual brand were unavailable to I tried these and was very pleasantly surprised. They’re a slightly darker roast than I’m used to but the flavour is great, there are subtle cinnamon notes and a decent crema. I found that while I usually take two sugars, with these I needed two and a half. But very nice and highly recommended. Good value for very decent coffee beans.
5.0 out of 5 stars Kimbo Crema Intensa Coffee Beans Review: A Luxurious Brew for Connoisseurs and Casual Sippers Alike
I've been brewing my morning cup with Kimbo Crema Intensa for a little while now, and thought it's about time I shared my thoughts. Here’s the lowdown:First off, the flavor is something to talk about. It’s rich, with a nice depth that hits you with a bit of sweetness and a hint of acidity. Honestly, it's been a great companion for my espresso machine, but I've also had a decent pour-over with it. The aroma? Absolutely inviting. Opening the bag is like walking into your favorite coffee shop – that burst of coffee smell that just picks you up.Now, the beans themselves look top-notch. They’re pretty uniform, and I haven’t come across any odd ones that looked under or over-roasted. They're not too oily either, which I’ve read can be a good thing for keeping your coffee maker in better shape. But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. The price tag is a bit on the high side. I get it, quality coffee costs more, but if you’re brewing a few cups a day like me, those bags start to add up. Also, the bag doesn’t reseal, which is a bit of a bummer. I had to find an airtight container to dump the beans into after opening, to keep them from going stale. And a heads up for anyone who likes their coffee on the lighter side – this might be a bit much for you. It’s definitely got a kick to it, which I love, but it might not be everyone’s cup of...coffee.So, wrapping up, would I buy it again? Yes, for those days when I feel like treating myself. It's not my everyday coffee, mainly because of the price, but when I do splurge on a bag, I enjoy every bit of it. If you’re into robust and flavorful coffees and don’t mind spending a bit more, I’d say give Kimbo Crema Intensa a shot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bought on a whim and surprised 😳
This was a knee jerk purchase and it was a delight for my morning espresso. It is great value for money. The strength of the coffee was strong but not overpowering and the aroma was coffee shop like.
Not the Freshest, but OK
As someone who usually buys freshly roasted dark roasts, I went out on a limb and picked up this 2.2 lb bag of Kimbo Napoletana as a stop gap measure while I waited for my next shipment of fresh beans. As expected, the Kimbo beans were not freshly roasted. Instead, the bag indicated they were roasted on August 23, 2023 and shipped to me around a year later. The “best by” date was August 22, 2025. So we’re dealing with beans that are a year old.Despite this, I don’t think they taste bad at all. The smell of the beans is not pleasant to me, but once they are brewed in my espresso machine, they taste like a traditional Italian roast with a good amount of robusta and produce a good amount of crema. The taste is also smooth with just a hint of bitterness. I was able to get the espresso to taste sweet with the correct brewing conditions.
Great taste!
Got this for my son-in-law for his birthday. He loves it!
Expected genuine chocolatey Italian espresso but this is just too roasty
I had read some good things about Kimbo on various espresso forums online, so wanted to give this a try. I am using a Niche Zero grinder paired with a high end dual boiler machine. First impressions are that these beans are exuding of roasty, smoky flavor. There is not much of that classic chocolatey Italian espresso flavor. Just way too bitter. I have been pulling ristrettos given the roast level and have tried varying shot temperature, but it just feels like a cheap commercial grade coffee. I bought this purely for exploration, but don't think I can recommend it to others. One can find better things for the same amount of money. For instance, Illy is better, Malabar Gold is quite awesome, etc. Also, I bought this at the end of September 2022 and the beans were roasted on March 2, 2022. Was not expecting fresh beans through Bolo anyway, but including it here as some useful information.
Très bon
Vraiment un bon café, bonne crème, corsé comme il le faut. A 20 euros le kilo ca reste dans la limite haute des prix quand même
