Not a very exciting game for adults, but for us it’s more about quality time with the kids. My 3yo loves it. It only takes about 5 minutes to finish, so it’s alright for his attention span. My 6yo learnt the rules in a flash, and it’s not really challenging enough for her. I’m not a fan of Gruffalo, but this was the only board game suitable for toddlers that I could find, and it’s money well spent, I guess. The rules are a bit confusing and not very clever, I must say. Design-wise, it’s nice. The box doubles up as dice tray. The board is made of two parts that click together like a puzzle.

This was bought as a gift for a 4 year old. It’s a great game, bright, full of colour, value for money and a super fun family game. Ideal for any Julia Donaldson fans.

Great introduction to board games for our almost 4 year old. Enough rules but not too many and options to simplify further, dice only goes up to 3 so helps prevent anyone running away with the game. Recommend!

My son is 3 and loves the game, very easy to understand. Dice only goes up to 3 as the game has less than 30 spaces so perfect for little ones as doesn’t take too long to play and they can understand the numbers themselves to move their character.

Great game for preschoolers
We discovered the Gruffalo books and then the movies, and finally this game! It is simple and each game is quick—my grandsons want to play it everytime they come over!
Pretty average and lacking quality
I think even for a four year old, this is board game is unimaginative and lacking in excitement. They could have done so much more with it

Regalo per un bimbo di 3 anni che adora il Gruffalo, gioco carino una sorta di gioco dell'oca con componenti di memoria, ripercorre l'avventura del topino nel libro, i suoi incontri nel bosco e la sua astuzia (ovviamente per noi giocatori è fortuna). Abbiamo giocato parecchie volte e anche il fratellino più grande si è divertito. Istruzioni in inglese ma tutto sommato semplici da capire.
