5.0 out of 5 stars great classroom resource
lovely bright, sturdy tweezers. they are robust enough to use in the classroom knowing they are not going to snap. they are quite stiff to use so would say best for 4 years and up. but a fantastic resource for fine motor skills development. i particularly like that these ones support correct pencil grip with the molded finger placements.
5.0 out of 5 stars Toddler loves these
I bought these for my 18 month old and he loves them and he’s still regularly using them now 6 months later to pick up pom poms. Excellent for fine motor skills.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good value
I bought these for my nursery and they have helped children with developing their pincer grip ready for writing. They do have to be pressed with medium force to make them close together, but that is good for building children's strength in their fingers. We have used them to sort objects by classifying them into colours or types which has aided colour recognition and children's understanding of the world. We have also used them to get children to select X number of blue objects and put them in a red bowl, thus supporting mathematical development. We have played games to see who can use the tweezers to get the most objects into their container and then got the children to help record their own scores, thus giving opportunties for early mark making.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic and fascinating
I was dubious about buying these because of the reviews but I'm glad I did. Yes, some of the tools seem quite flimsy but for the price, they are the best fine motor tools that I have found. They provide decent resistance and are just the right level of difficulty to manoeuvre and use for the children in my class. Plus when they arrived at school and I opened them at lunch tim, the exact right children were fascinated by them when they came in from lunch and have been begging to use them ever since.I bought these to fulfil a £20 minimum spend to get an add-on item free postage since I was close already but they actually ended up being the star of the show.
5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful and useful set
What a great learning set! My 2.5y old absolutely loves it and there are multiple applications and ways she can use all 4 tools. I got it to help her fine motor skill development as part of our Montessori at home approach. They feel sturdy although they're plastic, it doesn't feel cheap. Recommend the product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wish I'd bought these years ago
These are excellent, I wish I'd bought them years ago. My 5 year old and 2 year old have played with them for ages today! Little touches like the tweezers being shaped like a crocodile mean that they are so appealing. I'm so glad they offered this pack of four, because I was tempted to buy the multiple piece options but felt they were unnecessary/overpriced and these are much better for a home. The scissors-like scooper is tricky for my two year old but then I handed her the yellow cupping tweezers and she was able to use those to achieve what she wanted to so I think the whole set will be good for progression.
5.0 out of 5 stars Strong, sturdy and useful
These are great for students to use for fine motor skill activities. I’ve bought them twice and will likely buy again. Great size and quality!
3.0 out of 5 stars Break easily, not strong enough for little hands!
I bought this during the Black Friday deals last year and I am just so glad i did not pay full price for this. These are meant to be used by little hands who do not have much finesse or grip or the skills to correctly handle these products so you would expect them to be used roughly! However, the quality is really disappointing and surprising having bought other products from this company, I was not expecting this. The scooper broke within two weeks of purchase when my three year old trying to scoop some kinetic sand out of his tray. It was then the turn of the squeezy tweezers which just bent after using a few times. We keep trying to put them back into shape, but no use! The dropper is fun and still used during bath time and the gator grabber a bit boring without the rest of the items. I wouldn't buy it again, i am sure they are other better products out there to improve skills than these.
Perfect for little explorers
My 3 year old loves these little tools. Perfect for little hands. We use them in all play scenarios, including the bath
Useful product for school
Bought as a gift for my sister to use in her classroom. A great addition to her resources for her students.
Works well
The children at the daycare like this. We have one child that is struggling to hold a pencil properly and this is helping them. It is working well.
Very friendly and educational
Got this for my boys before they turned three. They had a harder time with some of them and did better with the tweezers. I love the colors and the fine motor stimulation they provide. The size is accurate. I used it for pompons, sand, picking small toys, colored water. They were easy to use and promote a lot of creative play
Great option for littles!
I purchased these for the 3-4 year olds in my preschool class and they were awesome! Very easy for them to hold and pick things up. Super cute design which they loved, the colours are vivid and they are durable.Worked out perfectly for the project I was doing and they will be a staple for future projects / activities.
