A nice large size, easy to hold and nice to look at. The mug has a sort of pedestal on which it stands, so the heat doesn't make direct contact with the surface it's standing on. So you may not need a coaster to stand it on to protect the surface.

Fantastic mugs and a bargain.They are great mugs for hot chocolate also tea and coffee.Delivery was fast.One of my mugs the handle was broken so I contacted Chabrias and they replace it straight away. Can't fault them at all.I highly recommend these mugs.Great value for two big mugs.

It has been a journey. Firstly I received a broken cup. The company sent me a replacement and this is what happened the first time I used. I was washing the mug and I got injured by this long piece of glass that got stuck in my hand. Never used, I was just washing it for the first time with some cold water. To be honest the cup looks good but if you look closer you can see that it is pretty rough on the border and where the glass has been melted. It is dangerous and the company is not giving me any refund.

PerfecTea!
I bought these to go with the Teavana PerfecTea maker instead of the Teavana branded mugs, since I had already spent over $100 in the store and didn't want my pretty mugs to have a big logo on them.They work perfectly with the tea maker and are made of heavy duty durable glass. The mugs are much prettier than the Teavana branded glassware and I'm looking forward to buying more.
Perfect for Tea!
I purchased these after buying the Teavana PerfecTea Tea Maker, 16oz because everyone's complaint was that you couldn't see when to stop pouring the tea. These were the perfect match. I've also microwaved hot water in them and put through the dishwasher. I think I might replace all my old coffee/tea mugs with these because I love the look and feel of them! Some people complained about not getting the amount they asked for, I think the problem has been fixed. You get a choice under the purchase information if you want 1, 2 or 4 mugs. I ordered two mugs and received two mugs nicely wrapped!

I found couple of cracks on the bottom of the mug after been used this mug for a month. Not sure when and how it happened. Maybe it came from original shipping, maybe due to I put it into microwave once. Are these mugs really safe to microwave by the way?
Father's Day gift
Haven't used these yet as they are a gift for Father's Day. But upon inspection out of the box, there is a tiny bubble in one of the mugs which I guess is a manufacturer's blemish.

These are beautiful mugs! When my daughter and I were in Peru recently, we ducked into a small bistro for a cup of hot tea. The drink arrived in a mug exactly like this, with fresh sprigs of luscious green mint. It made such a beautifully simple presentation, I replicated it by ordering two of these mugs for her birthday.
