I have recently starting using a different type of makeup (powder), as I am over a certain age where my old liquid foundation was not working as well and I was unsure what type of brush to use. The powder product I purchased recommended this style and I decided to try this one. The brush head is very good size and makes it much easier to apply the powder. Unlike some other brushes I reviewed this one doesn’t seem to have any issues with shedding. I am going to buy some more, so I will always have one while the other is being cleaned. I would definitely recommend this brush.

Great brush to apply foundation to give a flawless finish. I use Estee Lauder Double Wear but find with these brushes I use far less of it! Prep your skin properly first - cleanse, tone and moisturise - then use a foundation primer and then give your foundation a good shake and tip a small amount onto the head of the brush and then apply and blend all over your face and jawline - you can pat lightly into areas where you need a little more coverage. Can't recommend highly enough, these kabuki brushes are a complete game changer when it comes to applying foundation evenly and blending to a flawless finish. No loss of individual bristles and you can apply your make up quickly and easily to a far better finish than you can achieve with your fingers, sponges and conventional flat foundation brushes - plus you use much less foundation, so the brush is also saving you money when buying premium foundations at £30 plus, as you use far less, so will last longer and you avoid that horrible 'caked on' effect. Even my other half noticed and said how lovely my make up looked!!Cleaning is also a breeze - just work some hair conditioner and water into the bristles first a couple of times to loosen the foundation from the bristles and then use hair shampoo and water and work it through, then rinse until clean. Then I finish off with a tiny spot of more hair conditioner, before the final rinse, then simply prop the brush up vertically to dry naturally onto a towel with the bristles resting lightly on the towel (bristles side down to prevent water leaking into the handle) Job done!

Love this brush. Spreads the foundation really evenly and provides a flawless finish. Have been using for a couple of months now and very happy. Bristles are firm and in tact, and the brush is comfortable to use. Would recommend.

I must say that I was a bit nervous ordering this brush as I really wanted a good one. But I am so pleased I got it!! It is great, gives great, buildable coverage, it feels lovely on the face and I would say excellent value! If you are considering it, get it. You wont be disappointed. Also I have not had any shedding from it and it’s a great price.
Décevant pour une utilisation quotidienne, difficile à nettoyer
J'ai acheté le pinceau à fond de teint de la marque Keshima car il était très bien noté, mais malheureusement, il ne me convient pas du tout. Bien qu'il soit très dense, ce qui est généralement un plus pour ce type de pinceau, il n'applique pas si bien les produits que ça. Le fond de teint semble être prisonnier à l’intérieur du pinceau, rendant l'application inégale et peu satisfaisante.Un autre inconvénient majeur est qu'il est très difficile à nettoyer. Le produit reste coincé dans les poils denses, et même après un lavage minutieux, le pinceau ne ressort jamais vraiment propre. Cela favorise la prolifération des bactéries, et ayant une peau sensible, j'ai rapidement commencé à avoir plein de petits boutons.En résumé, malgré les bonnes critiques, ce pinceau ne répond pas à mes attentes. Sa densité, bien qu'un atout potentiel, devient un défaut majeur en rendant l'application du produit inefficace et le nettoyage laborieux. Je ne le recommande pas pour une utilisation quotidienne, surtout pour ceux qui ont une peau sensible.Édit: la marque m'a proposée un remboursement et même de me renvoyer un nouveau pinceau dans le cas où le premier était défectueux. Ce geste est vraiment adorable.
