Can i just say, the customer service care by CastleArts is second to none!! From the time of purchase till even now..3 days on, Penny from CastleArts has been great at updating me on my items promptly to letting me know that if there is any problems with the pencils to contact straightaway, to just asking if i'm happy with my items, because i hadn't emailed back. I felt/feel looked after. Thank you.The whole set is great for budding artists, beginners or for the inbetweeners like myself,Who did art then for whatever reason stopped only to rediscover the love for it and get back into it again many years later. It has everything you need to get started...and then some. Thank you again for delivering on your word ! I cannot be more happy and can now get on with what i love doing and that makes me happy...making Art :)

This is an excellent piece of kit for any artist who likes to draw. There are 12 graphite pencils, 3 charcoal pencils, 3 charcoal sticks and 1 soft graphite sketching pencil, In addition to this, there is a graphite sharpener and a charcoal sharpener, plus plastic and kneaded erasers. It all comes in a plastic case that can be used to hold your kit if you wish. Very good value for money and supplied well within the expected timescale. I would highly recommend this kit.

a lovely art set of great quality! the charcoal sticks were my favourite (the graphite sticks were also very interesting), they are lovely and I use them very often in my art gcse coursework. The sketch pencils are average. Unfortunately the charcoal pencils were a bit disappointing, especially the soft one because no matter what method I used to sharpen it, it would always crumble away. However, the whole set is very satisfactory and amazing value for money! It is a great starter pack for anyone who wants to try art but isn't sure what media to start with and doesn't want to spend much money on it.

Fab set! I'm fairly old - 65 and been drawing and painting all my life. My go-to sketching pencils are Staedtler Mars Lumograph - the best in my opinion.I ordered this set to try out for my arty granddaughter . Although she is young - only nine - I want her to have good quality materials to work with as rubbish can put even someone with skills off a medium for good - it did with me and coloured pencils until I found my 'grown up' ones!I needn't have worried - I tested them against my Staedtler ones and I can find no discernable difference. Which means all the other supplies in the case are, to all intent and purposes, free.I'm ordering another set for my other granddaughter and may well buy the set in the wallet for myself! :D

If you are looking to create sketches or detailed drawings then this set has all you need. The pencils range from 8B to 5H and there's 2 sharpeners enabling you to keep both pencils and charcoal tips nicely pointed. I bought this as a prime member and it was discounted. An absolute bargain with top service from Castle Art Supplies. They even guarantee all products for life which shows how much confidence they have in this product. I can't fault the seller or the set as both are top class.

I’m new to sketching since school and bought this set to have a go again. No complaints with any of the products, all in good condition and easy to use. Only gripe would be the packaging. It would be nice if it was presented in a case you could keep using as there are so many different bits. The one it comes with is fine but not the easiest to open and close and is very large. For the good price though it is perfectly acceptable
Great starting set for any aspiring or who love to draw at any level.
This product is a quality product if you know how to sharpen a pencils using a simple technique or those who know how to sharpen a pencil by “trial and error”. The only downside is the kneaded eraser, que quality is bad not recommend to using it. Instead buy a Faber Castell Kneaded eraser those superb equivalent to the known brand from General’s or the STAEDTLER ones. The rest are all good 😊 love the product. I hope Castle 🏰 Art can improve the quality of the Kneaded eraser. I hope this review is helpful. Oh! Also the Castle Art tutorial is a nice addition.
