Installed these at the beginning of 2024 following the purchase of my new home, I knew we had damp in the particular area and had been quoted £1.5k for a DPC excluding redecorating etc. Figured I'd give the rods a shot before I splurged on the DPC and at £65 to treat the area needed it was a no trainer. Fitted them as soon as they arrived, was easy and no drama with a proper SDS. We've had a wet and horrible September ams October so far and the walls are remaining dry where preciously they'd been sopping wet. The true test will be over winter but for now they appear to be working well and I'm very happy

The packagind and the product has a consistent quality about it. Do wear gloves when handling as they can be slightly caustic to the touch however they come fresh and well sealed. Very easy to use and it didnt take too long to place in the needed areas. Time will tell is they cure the damp. I will update.

I have no clue if this will work, however, I have read so many reviews, and all seem to point in the positive direction. I have a 10cm brick wall between myself and the neighbour, I have a cellar, the neighbours cellar has been buried with sand, it may be the reason I have damp showing from the floor level up to 40cm high, where pain is peeling off. I have now used these rods, and I have also painted the wall with damp proof paint, I hope this will be the end of it. I now plan to use this are the cellar level to try reduce any dampness rising up to the ground floor level. The process was quite easy, since my wall was 10cm, I drilled 9.5cm holes, and cut the rods to side, instructions said you have to insert the rods 5mm into the wall, and so I did, the rods come in a sealed bag, they are made of some fabric material, and seemed wet with a chemical, I used a filler to block the holes then pai Ted over them with damp proof paint. I hope I never see damp again.if I do, I will definitely return to update, now that I have extras, I'm heading to the basement to do the same. The idea is great and easy, you don't need a specialist to come into your home to do it for you, just drill to size at 12cm intervals, cut the rod to size, insert, fill the hole and done... its suppose to take a short period to do its job, so I'm waiting to see.. but looks like it's over with..

.. then they are a bargain. Not the best value for money though. Says to Wear gloves, but they aren't included so you better buy some the same time that you order this.
