5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good
They made my grout look phenomenal. So easy to use, it's literally just a felt pen.Once it's dry it won't rub off, but while you're applying it's super easy to get excess off. Doesn't smell at all.Seen a few reviews saying it runs out fast. I will say, the nib does wear fast but that's because grout is rough. If you keep pressing it down, it should last longer. I did one rooms worth of grout and it was still usable afterwards so it doesn't run out mega fast
4.0 out of 5 stars Works well
Actually works really well, nice bright white. Doesn't go a long way but a multipack is good value and will allow for good coverage.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cheaper way than removing & regrouting
This unibond 7ml grout pen is a great product & certainly revives things well to nice & crisp white. Told that it is easy to apply & that you can be more precise with it being pen & that there is no need to press too firmly & that it quickly dries within 60 minutes. & a tip the nip needs to depressed quiet a few times until the product flows you can think this isn’t working got a dud it just takes a while to come through. & when the nib frays pull it out & use the other end. & that a good thing is if any mishaps or have applied too much you can simply remove it with a damp cloth. This grout pen is great to restore discoloured grout & revive dull areas. Ours is used around the toilet because it goes off white quickly & odd tiles the white grout, a great product that saves you money & the need of replacing the grout in e.g bathroom/kitchen & so on.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not impressed
Not that impressed. Worked well for one tile! The end of the pen frayed and then didn't work. Waste of money for one tile.
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!
Wow!....yes, it works! I didn't realise how grubby my grout was in between my kitchen tiles!.... I must say it's made such a difference, my kitchen tile areas look really clean now...will recommend and buy again for my bath tiles plus the price is great!😆.So easy to use to...its a pen so it's very easy.Great stuff!
1.0 out of 5 stars Grout reviver pen is a complete joke & con.
This so called product, (The Unibond grout reviver pen) is the biggest load of rubbish & waste of money I have ever purchased, I consider myself as quite adept at DIY & enjoy taking on most jobs & after decorating my bathroom I realised that due to the condition of my tiles & grout being quite good I would try the aforementioned grout pen to spruce them up, (what a mistake that was to be).I followed the instructions to the letter which isn't rocket science, shake the pen, press the nib, ( but not too hard ) onto a piece of paper until the liquid is released, ( so far so good ) then gently squeeze ( but not too hard ) onto the grout & gently move along grout line, after doing five 6" tiles the nib split into what looked like frayed string & therefore wouldn't press back into the pen to release the grout liquid rendering it about as useful as a chocolate fire guard.I spent nearly £12 for 2 of these pathetic, useless, infuriating little pieces of rubbish & ended up actually scraping out & regrouting my tiles which I actually enjoyed doing a lot more than messing about with the aforementioned pile of junk. This is only my experience & my opinion but please be careful when thinking of buying this product, it's equally annoying as I've bought Unibond products in the past & never had a problem, 0 out of 10 & no stars for this one 👎
5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive!
I've always been skeptical of these but it actually did a really good job at restoring my bathroom.Tip: the end does wear out but I used a blade to cut the plastic rim back and expose more. I was able to finish a 1x2m bathroom with one pen.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product - if used carefully!
There are many negative comments (1* and 2* reviews) on the Bolo website but if used carefully, this is a good product.I Bought this pen a few weeks ago. After less than a dozen tiles the tip frayed and the pen became unusable. I called Unibond to "complain" and they kindly sent me a replacement. Using the replacement, I was much more careful how I used it and the results were very good. Here are my "tips" for a good result:1. Shake the pen vigorously when first removed from the packaging.2. Press tip CAREFULLY on a non abrasive surface for a few seconds to allow the fluid to flow (I used an old tile off-cut).3. Apply the tip to the grouting GENTLY and at an angle - rather like drawing a line. DO NOT PRESS HARD on the grouting as this will cause the tip to fray! Turning the pen slowly as the fluid is applied will help to preserve the tip.4. Shake the pen frequently every 2-3 tiles and repeat 2 & 3 above until the job is complete.I have now "revived" all the tiles in my bathroom and shower and the grouting looks great! As I have said, a good product if used carefully. If Unibond read this, I suggest better instructions could be provided!
super simple and long lasting solutions
It's just like coloring with a Sharpie. Still looks great 4 months in.
Serves the purpose, more like a white paint/correction ink.
Before using make sure to follow instructions. Initially nib would be dry, you need to press against a hard surface, so that the nib goes in breaking the seal and the white paint fills up the nib and then you can start using it. Everytime you feel the nib is dry you need to repeat this step. 7ml is less and costly. Maybe better to buy a white paint and a small brush and repaint the Grout.
It works just like the Ads say
Easy to use BUT the pen tip wears out fast
cumple su funcion
Para cubrir juntas muy oscuras hay que dar varas pasadas pero va muy bien lo unico que no es muy duradero..osea que da para pocos metros
Problem sorted
I went over some grout lines which now look so much better.
