Be aware of keeping the stick in the urine for enough time for it to work!I ordered a pack of two tests just incase I didn't get a result and needed to retest a few days later, but as it turned out the first one didnt work!(On the first go) I decided to collect my urine sample in a little plastic cup (I used a old chocolate pudding pot). I held the stick in for ten seconds but after five minutes there was nothing. Not a thing - NOT even a line in the control box. So I used the second test about an hour later.The second time I held the stick in the pot of urine (which I filled up as much as possible) and I watched the liquid draw up the stick and waited until I could see the liquid drawing past the first window box and then onto the control box before I took it out, replaced the lid and set the timer for three minutes. I got a result this time - including a line in the control box.I've never had to take a test before so I think that i was so worried about doing something wrong, that I didn't hold the stick in the urine for long enough.When testing I recommend using a pot as it's easier to see the liquid drawing up the stick.

Many reviews on here state that upon opening these, the negative line already appears faint. It does, however that does not affect the use of these tests and this line will darken after you pee on the stick, with the control line also appearing. I took about 20 of these tests because I wasn’t convinced (was told I wouldn’t conceive due to being very underweight). The lines were faint initially, so I waited another week before doing another test which shows a clear positive. I confirmed this with the digital test. I then did another test a week later; this showed a very thick positive line within seconds of peeing on the stick. 8 weeks later and 16 weeks in, my once concave belly is very much so a bump! Please trust this brand, and don’t waste tonnes of money on tests like I did!! If you get a faint positive, it means you’re early in your pregnancy. Don’t convince yourself it’s an evaporation line. Just leave it another week and test again! ☺️
