  • CAUTION! This styler can reach temperatures of 230°C and can become very hot. Take care to avoid the hot surfaces of the appliance coming into direct contact with the skin, in particular the eyes, ears, face and neck. Towel dry and detangle the hair.
  • We recommend using a heat protect spray such as the TRESemmé Heat Defence Spray to help protect your hair against damage caused by heat styling tools up to 230°C* *vs a non-conditioning shampoo alone.
  • Dry hair as normal.
  • Always ensure your hair is completely dry before use. Never use the styler on wet hair.
  • Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket and slide the switch to the ‘I’ position to switch on. The on indicator light will illuminate.
  • There are two heat settings: - Use setting ‘I’ for fine, thin or coloured hair - Use setting ‘ll’ for medium and thicker hair

    General Tips:
    Clip unwanted hair out of the way and make sure each section is tangle free before you begin. To get the hair style to last longer, spray each section of hair with TRESemmé hairspray before you straighten it. Work from close to the root to the ends.

    Care and Maintenance
    In order for your straightener to retain its tip top performance it is important to make sure there is no product build up on the plates. This will ensure the plates always glide smoothly through the hair. Use a damp cloth over the surface of the plates to wipe away any styling product – only do this when the styler is completely cool. To prevent cord damage – never wrap the cord around the styler – always store the cord next to the straightener in the heat protection wrap.

    Directions

    Always inspect the appliance before use. Do not use the appliance if the lead is damaged. In the event of damage, discontinue use immediately. If the lead is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer. Contact the Conair Customer Care Line. No repair must be attempted by the consumer. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on or plugged in.

    Bought these to replace my broken GHD's (did not want to pay hundreds for a new pair at the moment) but I won't be buying any GHD's as these are so much better than them. This has the two temperature controls and they are easy to use with a long cable, they are great at straightening and I also used them this morning to curl my hair and they work fabulously for this too!Overall very impressed and they don't take long to heat up either too. They are amazing and extremely affordable. Would highly recommend to anyone who is wanting new straighteners. Buy them you wont regret it.

    Very simple to use - I just put the temperature setting to full (not sure if I can discern a difference with the half way point temperature setting).These are not fancy and don’t have any big features, but that’s what I wanted and paid for. They work really well and great value.The best thing for me is that they are thin in width which works well for me as I use them to curl my hair and they are great for this. Would travel well too as lightweight.

    Love these straighteners.Comes with wrap around heat mat.These are pretty compact in size compared to previous flat irons and I prefer this size. They are lightweight, heat up quickly and don't pull/snag my hair.I bought after borrowing my friends on a vacation and couldn't believe the price. Great value for a very decent product.

    Easy to use. Excellent for short hair. Two heat settings. If you forget to turn them off there is Automatic Shut Off. I know this because this happened to me, only once though!!

    These straighteners are ok, I can't say they are bad, but I'm not raving about them. Maybe it's because my old straighteners had wider plates, and I've got to get used to these, but the straightness seems to drop out quite quickly after using.On the plus side, they've got a nice, long, flexible power cord. An eyelet for hanging them up would have been a nice touch, but I can make one myself, so no biggy.
