Reasonable price, strong/sturdy, sharp and look like they will last, however I have deducted a star as they are not spring loaded (i.e. after cutting they do not return to open naturally), which is actually more annoying than I expected it to be.

Bought this to use with my plastic model for snipping off parts from the main sprue. I also use it for cutting off the excess from plastic tie wraps. Really well made and works well.

I needed, or i should say i wanted some new hand tools, you cant have too many snips can you? Draper is a decent well known brand so i picked this pair up.The good -They appear to be sturdy enough in construction, solid, build quality of the handles is good if not what i expected. The Snips themselves are sharp and seem to meet in the right spot.Using them they cut first time hassle free but i have only used on cable ties so far, no wire has been harmed in the making of this review.The not so good -I thought the handles would be soft grip, the description says so, the design makes it appear that the black part of the handle is a softer rubber compound, it isnt, its rock solid. Which is ok for occasional use but i wouldnt want to be using them all day unless i was training for an upcoming rock climbing expedition to strengthen my grip.The pivot is so loose its like using a butterfly knife, i just felt it should be a little tighter so as not to require closure from a fully open position on each cut, again a part of this is i have baby sized hands so they have to stretch out somewhat on most tools but these are a chore.Overall i cant moan too much over the price though i have had screwfix own brand at a similar price point that were much better. Am sure they will last a long time, but that will probably be because they are consigned to the bottom drawer for use in emergencies.Three stars.

These cutters are comfortable to grip and cut cleanly in the middle of the blade BUT they will not cut using the first 5mm, or so, of the blades. This means you can’t, for instance, cut cables, or wire, with limited access. Also a bit difficult the strip insulation using the back edge - for the same reason. Shame really as, otherwise, reasonable for the price

Anfangs ganz gut und alles, aber nach einer Woche ist die Spitze abgebrochen, die ich brauche, um die Ringe aufzuknipsen...Jetzt bin ich etwas angepisst darüber.Für die Arbeit noch brauchbar, aber nicht mehr für die Kleinarbeiten, für die ich die Zange gekauft habe.

Pessimo. L'ho acquistata per sostituire in vecchio tronchesino di marca sconosciuta che accompagnava i miei pasticci in laboratorio da ormai 20anni. In meno di un mese le lame hanno perso il filo ed hanno iniziato ad arruggire. Fortuna che lo uso solo per tagliare cavetti e piedini di componenti elettronici. Purtroppo il periodo per effettuare il reso è scaduto, ma sconsiglio assolutamente l'acquisto. Un paio di forbici da carta per bambini funzionano meglio di questo aggeggio che non merita di essere chiamato tronchesino.
