    Overview: Nice long handled, big headed and fairly stiff brush.Disclaimer: I don’t know what I’m doing, I really don’t! This is the first brush I’ve ever reviewed. Hopefully if you don’t know what you’re doing either, then this review helps!Postage and Packaging: Actually, not a great amount of good to say here. It was prime so came nice and quick but looking at the photos you can see that it was hardly in the box at all. It wasn't damaged but I'm amazed how it wasn't.First Impressions: It arrives in separate parts and each bit individually looked decent. Strong ABS plastic and clear to an extent what went where, although the picture instructions did help!Design:• Nice strong design• Soft grip halfway down for gripping, slightly contoured hard handle at the end.• Brush head is big. It's obvious when you order that it is big but still this head is big.• Bristles aren't the most stiff I've ever used, but they seem stiff enough to move anything loose. I'm not sure how much scribing of, say, moss you could do. Check the video.Use: It's a brush. You brush with it.Longevity: This is a nicely made brush and I bought it because of both the previous reviews and also the description. I would be very surprised if it failed early on. However, if it does fail in a short period then as always I will update this review. Biggest worry of fairly is probably the screw in had since that's where all the force is transferred to the head. It's strong though.

    Bought as a replacement for the same. Used in an equine environment and does the job well.However, it is important to take care to really tighten the clamp onto the brush head to stop itwobbling and ultimately break. Some adhesive on the screw helps to stop it unscrewing duringuse. Only 3 stars for lightness .... but it is a big brush !The only disappointment was that I noted that Wickes are selling this CB 24" brush for £14.50 !!

    Though the brush head was lovely, and the handle attaches very sturdily into the head with extra bracing, the implementation of the two piece handle let's the design down and renders it useless. Maybe I just got a duff one - the thread where the two pieces join does not allow sufficient tightening before the thread runs out and the the handle just spins - no use as of course the brush head then spins. If this were a cheap brush maybe you could let it go and gaffer tape it, but not on vend only brush you'll ever need'

    I like the strength of this broom. It has a screw fixing and a bracket that goes over this to make it more robust. It sweeps really well and though not too aggressive (wouldn't brush out moss between brick block paving for example), it will sweep leaves etc up really easily. The width making the time taken to sweep up stuff much quicker.

    The metal construction of the handle means corrosion over time. Left in the elements, it will last a year at most. Kept in a shed, it might last considerably longer. Useful to those seeking extra-wide brooms, not the best quality but the price is relatively on point when I bought it.

    Broom itself seems great, strong bristles and does a job! However the handle come loose from the fitting on first use! Hoping some glue will fix it? Think I’ll definitely go with the good old wooden frame over plastic next time…shame

    I’ve bought a number of these in the past as the broom is great for sweeping up garden rubbish, but the metal handle has always been weak and snapped but repaired with a metal pole down the shaft and gorilla tape!The new broom has a two piece handle which screws together so I suspect will be more solid however it’s about 4-5inches too short for me (and I’m only 5ft 9!)Maybe make the two pieces a little longer in future! It still sweeps very well though, I just have to stoop a bit lower!
