Absolutely delighted with the quality of this butter! Yes it has quite a distinctive smell, but i don't find it offensive, just unusual. It does dissipate with the blend of other essential oils (i used it with lavander from doTerra so far). The butter itself makes the skin very soft, and is great value for money! I will half it with a friend or use it to make personalised gifts, as not sure how fast will I use 1kg - bit who knows, it's so amazing, i might surprise myself! It has a year expiry date (to Jan 2026). Totally recommended!

I usually buy raw Shea butter from a store that brings most of its products from Ghana & Nigeria.This butter is the same quality AND SMELL as the ones they sell in there, and the same homemade brick format.To me, it has a strong smell of nuts and dirt, not unpleasant but not smelling like vanilla either.Easy fix. I melted it and added some lemon grass essential oil to it.My skin gets dry especially in the colder months and this stuff is 1000% better at moisturizing than whatever I was using before(Neutrogena/Nivea).

First of all it was delivered very quickly, i was a little surprised at the packaging, although not an issue just not what i was expecting.I have very very dry skin and have found that nothing ever really works as it claims on the label. A friend recommended this to me, so i thought for the price it is always worth a go. I have to say that it works really well for me, i have used it for a few days now and the results have been very good.I know others seem to knock either the smell or its refined qualities (unsure why?) but i have found that it does have a faint smell, but it is by no means a bad one. As for its refinement properties, i am not an expert so couldn't say for certain about those, but it looks raw and natural to me. The next step for me is to learn to break it down and add some oils to give it some aroma. Overall i am happy that it genuinely does what it says on the tin and would buy again, and would recommend to anyone that has dry skin.

I purchased shea butter from this company, in need of a moisturising cream for my eczema prone skin. My skin which took over two years to heal from eczema broke out after using this shea butter.I was unsure if it was this item causing this, so I stopped using it then started again.. to my surprise the eczema would begin to clear up when I stopped using this shea butter, then spread vigorously when I started using it again.I stopped using it finally and my skin has improved drastically since.Please avoid.

Buen producto aunque un muy mal olor.
Lo uso para un bloqueador solar y con todos los componentes y mezclas, es imposible reducir ni siquiera un poco el olor. Usado para bloqueador solar con resistencia al agua30% zinc no nano30% aceite de coco / aceite oliva25% manteca de karite / gel aloe vera (opcional)15% de cera de abeja (esto le da la resistencia al agua, yo nado 2 horas y cuando salgo aun se ve que tengo la crema)Ahorras dinero en comparación con cremas solares standard que usan componentes cancerígenos.

muy buena manteca de karite
me encanto el producto huele un poco fuerte pero yo hago una crema casera con 300 gramos de karite 100 gramos de aceite de coco y 100 gramos de aceite de almendras y es la mejor crema del mundo super hidratante te deja la piel perfecta y con esta catidad tienes para mucho tiempo y sin gastar mucho dinero y todo productos naturales sin quimicos el producto a mi me vino en un taco parece un taco de jabon y tienes que andar cortando pedazos pequeños pero si haces la crema que te digo yo y la metes en un bote queda perfectamente untable y super comoda de echar y se hace en un bol al baño maria se derrite los 300 gramos de karite se echa en un vaso batidor echas los 100 gramos de aceite de coco y los 100 gramos de aceite de almedras lo bates con la batirora un minuto lo echas en el bote limpio que ya tienes preparado y a la nevera en dos horas coje consistencia de crema y ya puedes utilizar yo la meto en nevera porque es verano en invierno no hace falta la dejas fuera donde te sea mas comodo para hidrarte el cuerpo desdues de la ducha y genial una maravilla como te queda la piel de hidratada
