The TomYang BBQ grill, adds a little drama to your meal times. Just like a fondue set, your dinners can huddle around the grill and enjoy cooking their own food. If you are into a social dining experience, the TomYang Grill really excels. Just make a basic stock, pour it into the outer ring, then add your choice of vegetables and meat or seafood.This has proved to be a hit with the whole family, even my youngest at 8 is happy to get involved with the cooking.The grill heats up quickly and maintains it’s temperature well. At the end of the meal. cleaning the grill is a simple process of lifting the whole nonstick pan off the base and washing in the sink. Depending on what you are cooking I would recommend brushing some sesame seed oil onto the grill to stop foods from sticking, and make your cleanup even easier. My only criticism of this product is that the power cord is a little short, so depending on the location of your electrical sockets you will probably have to use an extension lead to place the grill where you need it.

What an excellent bit of kit.Used the bbq grill/hotpot for the first time the other evening and it heats up quickly and holds the temp well (we kept the thermostat on 1 out of 3 and this was perfect). The griddle works well and with very little smoke given from the charring of food (scraps of chill and ginger from the beef marinade left on the griddle) we didn't use any sticky (honey/sweet chilli) type of marinades so cannot comment if that would effect smokiness indoors.Ideal for 2 to 4 people. I think you need would need to consider getting another for larger parties.The recipe card is in German, however I have been informed by the company that an English version will be available on their website week starting 21/12/2016.If I was to pick one issue and is in no way a big thing, is that the power cable is a little on the short side. Nothing that cannot be fixed by using an extension lead:)All in all a great product.

The idea is simple and great - combining steamboat and hotpot. The device is very easy to use and clean, and is just a simple way to get into having a hotpot/steamboat at home.There are only two areas where I might not recommend this particular hotpot:1) you're planning larger parties to use this - I don't think the size of this hotpot is suitable for groups larger than 4. the soup ring, given that it has to be around the bbq plate, doesn't hold that much soup, and the bbq plate is probably not going to be able to cook enough meats at the same time to feed more than 4 people.2) the heating of both the soup ring and bbq plate are together - you can't turn up the heat to cook meats and turn down the heat to prevent the soup from boiling, for example. You'll want to have make sure both the soup and bbq plate are used in a way that they will require similar amounts of heat throughout the meal.Apart from these two very small gripes, and not even gripes if you're just using this for a simple family meal or just sharing with a couple of friends, this hotpot is great and I would 100% recommend it.

Good size pot for both the soup base and the grilling. Efficient heating allows grilling to start within 5mins but probably best to pre heat the soup base before adding. No problems so far and although at the high end of table top BBQ hot pots, I feel it is good value as the build quality is excellent and the non-stick surface appears robust. The only slight quibble is that the power lead could have been a little longer so it runs easily to the floor to connect to an extension lead.

The Thai barbecue is superb. My home is in Thailand where I've lived for 16 years & now working in Scotland for 2 years. The machine works a treat & brings back great memories of meals at Barb b q plaza in Rayong, Thailand. The only negatives would be it generates a bit of steam,and in.my case I eat too far much as its delicious!

Used it for the first time and I am impressed!It is a bit pricey but worth it especially if you love bbq and/or hotpot! 💖Heats up quite quickly and hold the temperature well with very little smoke!Only downside I would say is that the soup area isn’t deep enough, probably just good for two people but other than that, all good! 💖

I bought this out of nostalgia, who doesn’t enjoy a Thai BBQ?This is a must! The grill is almost perfect and it’s good for indoors. I am a tough critic when it comes to food equipment and food in general. Although it has its flaws it is my favourite in the kitchen these days, perfect for a party. The only flaw I found was the soup area couldn’t be used as a hotpot as it’s not quite deep enough, but other than that it’s perfect and incredibly easy to clean.

wow, this BBQ is amazing. The dome in the centre heats up well and cooks meat, fish, vegetables and anything else you can fry in a normal pan.The juices then drip into the surrounding liquid part and add to the flavour. I use miso soup mix to use as the liquid. It does need topping up as you use it as the boiling liquid does evaporate.In the soup part I put pak choi, mushrooms, beansprouts, peppers, baby sweetcorn, noodles and onions, but you can put practically anything in.Great centre piece for a dinner party, but I would say not more than 4 people due to the size.The only down side is it does produce a lot of steam while cooking and the price.

Wir haben den TomYang Hot Pott bei Freunden gesehen und wurden damit lecker verköstigt. Das war ein Grund für uns, auch einen TomYang zuzulegen.Wir sind begeistert. Es funktioniert sehr gut. Die längste Zeit geht wahrscheinlich für die Vorbereitung des Gemüses und Fleisch drauf. Ansonsten heizt er sehr gut auf und das Essen ist dann schnell gar und lecker.Die Reinigung ist ebenfalls sehr einfach. Man darf natürlich nicht mit scharfen Reinigern ran. Er passt auch gut in den Geschirrspüler.Für mich ist das eine sehr gute Alternative für Fondue und Co.Also von uns eine klare Kaufempfehlung

SUPER! Wij zijn absoluut enthousiast over deze Thaise grill. De combinatie van grill en hot pot is gewoonweg briljant. De jus komt van het grilloppervlak in de hot pot en maakt de soep zo heel lekker. Wij genieten nu van de gerechten uit Zuidoost Azie!

Il fornetto è fatto molto bene, buon materiale e una resistenza che scalda tanto. Consume abbastanza (1800 w) per cui attenzione che non salti il contatore. Il risultato della cottura e molto buono anche se non si può mettere troppa roba nel bordo se non si vuole aspettare troppo tempo per la cottura (specie patate, cavolo, e verdure "dure"). Al centro invece è veloce. Acquistato scontato offerta lampo a 119.20€ vale la pena altrimenti è un po' caro. Al momento ho cucinato una sola volta, vediamo come va con il tempo
