The duration of the treatment should not exceed 7 days.
Safety Warning
Before you use peroxyl: do not use peroxyl if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to hydrogen peroxide or any of the other ingredients of peroxyl. You should speak to your dentist or doctor if you have a mouth irritation that persists beyond 7 days of treatment or is severe, if you have irritation due to the wearing of braces and/or dentures, if you develop swelling in the mouth or develop a fever. Special warnings: do not use in children under the age of 6 years. Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes. Propylene glycol may cause skin irritation. Pregnancy/breast-feeding: consult your doctor or dentist before use. Peroxyl contains levo-menthol, which if accidentally ingested in excessive amounts may cause fits (particularly in children or infants). If you, or anybody else using peroxyl experience fits, seek medical help, always take this container with you. Possible side effects: like all medicines, peroxyl can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them, these may include: minor irritation and swelling of the mouth, injury to the gums, black stain on the tongue and a feeling that your tongue is hairy. You are more likely to experience these side effects if you use peroxyl for a long time or at high doses. These side effects should disappear when you stop using peroxyl. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or dentist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this label.
