I bought this to dehumidify my bedroom, which feels far warmer than it is due to humidity, leading to uncomfortable nights' sleep and that feeling that you can't get properly dry after a shower, for example.I plugged it in in the late afternoon, and it certainly made a difference. Although, I would say (like other reviewers) that it takes some time to actually start doing its job. This is because of the way Peltier effect works, and means it should be left on to work effectively. There's a pretty large heatsink of what looks like machined aluminium inside the machine, finned to provide surface area, and the Peltier device needs to bring the temperature of this heatsink down to well below ambient temperature for moisture to start condensing on it. After about 6 hours it started condensation, and the first few drops dribbled down into the reservoir. Over the next 6 hours, it produced a good amount of water, and the air in the room feels appreciably drier and more comfortable. I expect it would have no trouble extracting the claimed 500ml/day, depending on conditions (it can't get water out of the air if the air's already pretty dry!). Ambient temperature is also a factor.So, it does what it says, in a pretty small form factor.The only issue I have is that it is described as 'ultra-quiet' and 'whisper quiet'. If you want something unnoticeable, then this isn't for you. However, I often have a fan and/or air filter going anyway, so don't need total quiet to sleep. It's about the volume of a blow heater, or a desk fan on medium - there's a gentle whooshing, with little mechanical noise from the internal fan. Having had a brief look as much as I can, it seems to be the type of fan you can buy for computer cases, and I'm sure that it wouldn't be difficult to replace the (doubtlessly cheap) fan with one expressly built to be very quiet.All in all, a good buy, but if using in a bedroom be aware that it does make more noise than you might hope. Nothing too disturbing, though.

Pretty happy with this dehumidifier. It’s a lot quieter and absorbs ways more moisture than my previous dehumidifier. Even for its capacity it’s small and lightweight. Simple to use with a flick of an on/off button and simple design.

I purchased this model despite initially intending to purchase a larger and more expensive dehumidifier. I decided instead to purchase a cheaper and smaller model just in case I found I was wasting my money on a dearer model, the one I had my eye on was over £150.I am glad I purchased this model instead as I could have three of these models in three different rooms rather than one more powerful and expensive model in one place.This model is light enough to move from room to room and is small enough to be fairly unobtrusive in most rooms.I found it too noisy to have on at night in the bedroom while sleeping but fine at all other times.It collects a good amount of moisture and it is easy to empty the container.I am really pleased with it and would recommend .

Please listen to this review, I am convinced most/all positive reviews are from within a week of buying the product.I have bought 2 of these, one 500ml and one 1000ml. Annoyingly, they work really well at the start, especially the bigger one. But both of them have stopped working (completely died) 3-4 weeks after purchasing.The first, this one, was within the Bolo returns timeframe so it was a relatively simple process (though I bought it on a discount, so when I had to re-purchase I had to opt for the smaller one).The second broke literally a day after the Bolo return window closed. So I had to go through the ProBreeze website. What a pain in the backside that is… you are required to upload a photo or video in order to submit a query, but when I take a photo on a standard iPhone 13, let alone a video, it is too large a file!After finally contacting ProBreeze, they got back to me and kindly offered to replace the item. Wow, finally solved the issue so I can prevent my wardrobe from getting damp! Or so I thought… they asked for my delivery details, I replied, and I have still heard nothing back TWO WEEKS on! No reply confirming it’s been dispatched, or when it will be dispatched, no confirmation of receiving my email, nothing.So yeh, my advice would be to look elsewhere. If you decide to buy it anyway, good luck with the ProBreeze website
Died already 🚮
It was efficient when it worked and seemed to help keep the temperature in my flat steady. Then recently I came back home and it had the “full” light on and wasn’t operating so I emptied the tank and tried to turn it back on but it’s completely dead. I only got it a month ago 😒
Great product until it stopped working three weeks later!
I was very happy with this product, it worked as it was supposed to, filled up and turned off as it was supposed to, and now it’s not working at all. It filled up but the red light didn’t come on as usual. Instead, it simply stopped working. Now it doesn’t turn on in any wall socket even after the filter has been emptied. Good thing I opted for the warranty.
Zero star should be better
Thé deshumidifier has worked only few hours before completely stopped aspiring.Even the button « On » is not working.Very disappointed by this product and for a such price (229AED).
