Probably hands down the best fresh coffee blend I've tasted in a while. Cheap, disposable and keeps my machine quite clean. I've been having these every morning and they've left me pretty energetic. Trust me when you unzip they're packet smell the pod itself and you'll get what I mean.

I bought this coffee, having never heard of this brand before, because it was recommended for my breville coffee machine. I must say I was a bit hesitant because I like a smooth not too strong coffee and this really does fit the bill. I enjoyed it so much I went and bought another 3 boxes (just to make sure I have pleanty before the prices go up again in UK).Now I find they do this coffee in tins, something else for me to buy, although there's plenty of bad reviews about no lids, people (I assume youngsters(because they lack what we mature people call..Imagination)) haven't thought about plastic lids for tins here on Bolo, I have quite a few for all sized tins, so keeping it fresh shouldn't be a problem. HEY! kids, forget Google, try using your imagination, look for sealable tin lids here on Bolo, they're quite cheap and work very effectivley.

Best tasting pods so far
Using these in my Kotlie and they work perfectly. The flavour, strength, and body is excellent. Illy really did a great job with these. Just be careful with the random pricing.Tip: the pods are apparently designed for one direction water flow so make sure the Illy logo faces up

Kaum Crema, Siebträger am Limit...
... zunächst einmal: der entkoffeinierte Kaffee von illy schmeckt mir persönlich sehr gut, aber ich hab keine Crema auf dem Espresso und unser Siebträger, eine De'Longhi Dedica, brummt und quetscht den Kaffee nur Tröpfchenweise heraus, vielleicht sind die Pads zu fest verdichtet. Wegen dem ganzen Verpackungsmüll habe ich mir diese ESE Pads nur als Notlösung, wenn's schnell gehen muss gekauft. Ich verstehe auch nicht, warum die ESE Pads nicht wie die Senseo Pads verpackt werden können. Einen guten Lösungansatz, damit die Pads nicht rum fliegen und sich verformen bietet Aldi mit seinen runden Plastik "Dosen" für Kaffeepads an. Ich werde dann doch lieber wieder etwas mehr Zeit investieren und den entkoffeinierten Brazil Decaf von Tchibo nehmen, zumal ja illy ganz schön teuer ist!
