  • New and improved fabric Dye with salt, for use in automatic washing machines with permanent results; ideal for dyeing clothes and soft furnishings
  • Suitable for use on natural fabrics: cotton, linen and viscose. Lighter shades will be achieved on polyester/coton and polyester/viscose mixes. Not suitable for use on wool silk, synthetic fibres (e.g. polyester, acrylic, nylon) and fabrics with special finishes (e.g. waterproofing or fire resistant)
  • Colour mixing rules apply (e.g. red dye on blue fabric will give purple). To remove the colour first use DYLON Pre-Dye
  • One pack will dye up to 600g of fabric (e.g. a large pair of jeans) to the full shade on the pack or up to 1.2kg (e.g. double duvet cover) to a lighter shade. For larger items use multiple packs.

    I purchased this to dye my beach towel that was originally orange but had faded to a yellow colour. Results were brilliant, towel is now bright orange again and also dyed a cheap white t shirt at the same time. Instructions were easy to follow and no mess I washing machine.

    This is the second time I have used a Dylon dye. The most important thing I can say is that on natural fabrics it is spot on but not synthetics. I put in a white cotton nightdress and a white linen shirt with the orange dye and they came out perfect. I also put in a synthetic pale orange chiffon scarf hoping it would be the same as the shirt but the dye didn’t touch it, it came out exactly as it went in. You also need to be aware that if your natural fabric has been sewn with synthetic thread then that won’t take either.

    Absolutely loving my sofa, now it's been transformed from plain ikea white to Fabulous orange!The colour is extraordinary- so vibrant. I've bought a lovely ethnic throw for it, and along with my Dylon-dyed yellow chair, the dingy room is LIFTED!Dylon was so easy to use. I had been nervous but the instructions were clear. (Print could be a bit larger) Used 2 pods for the small sofa covers which was perfect.Well pleased!
