This recipe book stand is brilliant. I had to return another one I'd ordered because it wouldn't stand up, it wasn't adjustable and the page holders were useless. It was a shane because it was a beautiful cast iron one and when I ordered this, I did so reluctantly because it doesn't have that rustic quality. However, I needn't have worried. It looks far nicer in the kitchen than the pictures give it credit for, it's fully adjustable and is secure and the page holders are firm and secure. You can put any size book on it, hardback or paperback and the page holders actually do their job and can be moved around. The end of each one has a fixed silicone cover so you can't rip your pages either. You could put a phone or tablet on it too, although I bought this because I got fed up of using my phone because the screen kept turning off. The longest I can set my phone screen on for without switching off is 10 mins (Samsung S22 ultra), which I understand is for security reasons, but if I'm in my house cooking, it's not like I'm going to lose it or have it stolen is it? Plus, I also got fed up with trying to lean it against the kitchen roll so it'd stay up and the screen is too small for my aging eyes!

I got this primarily to hold coding reference books, which can tend to be pretty thick.It is able to easily hold even the thickest book in my collection (which comes in at just under 1000 pages). The metal clips do a decent job of holding the pages, though for really thick books it's often best to only use one on the 'thin' side and let the other stay by its own weight.It looks smart too, easy to adjust the angle with a good selection of positions, and folds away quite compact.

Pros:- good quality- holds any size of cook book- folds down so it’s compact to store- adjustable for a full range of angles- looks good on the kitchen counterCons:- the back of the stand folds down when in use, when not in use it folds up for storage, however there is no magnet to hold it there, which is a bit frustrating.- would be nice if the back of the stand was made of metal instead of plastic for aesthetics

I bought this to use with very large text books. The stand has worked perfectly - I tried it first with a 550 page book - no problems. I was surprised how well it worked with a 1500 page book, which I had found almost impossible to hold to read, and uncomfortable to read with it lying flat on my desk. The book stand is well made, sturdy and robust, and very simple to set up. For my purposes, it is perfect, and at a very reasonable price given its quality.

Perfect size for a book, magazine, or a cookbook. I love how the black bars move to securely hold the pages and especially like that it folds up for easy storage.

Le due appendici in metallo per stabilizzare le pagine sono perfette. Ottime le regolazioni per l'inclinazione del leggio. Acquisto senz'altro azzeccato.

Super nützlich
Verarbeitung ist top. Hat mir beim schreiben meiner BA-Arbeit sehr geholfen und wird definitiv weiter verwendet werden! Ich wurde schon öfters darauf angesprochen, weil es doch wirklich einen sehr fertigen hübschen Eindruck macht.Einziger Nachteil war, dass die Höheneinstellung aus Plastik ist, das sich nicht suuuuper hochwertig anfühlt, aber es wird seinen Job einige Jahre definitiv erfüllen. Für den Preis also wirklich überzeugend. Würde ich so wieder kaufen =)
