So this isn’t going to be the longest review as there’s not a great deal you can say about a USB wall charger but here ya go!The Anker USB 4.8A/24W 2-Prt USB charger just works! You plug it in to a wall socket, press the switch, plug in a USB cable, attach it to your device and hey presto it starts charging!The build quality is good, it doesn’t feel like it’s going to break any time soon and the USB cable when plugged into the port feels solid and not like it will come out or work it’s way loose.Bare in mind that this is an OPTIMISED charger not a QUICK CHARGER, this is not a Qualcomm Fast Charge 2.0/3.0 capable charger and it won’t fast charge your phone/device. I mainly bought it for use at work to keep my phone charge topped up while it’s sat on my desk which it does perfectly. This is not intended to be used to fast charge your device to 80%+ charge within 20 mins etc..If you need a device that will fast charge using QualComm quickcharge technology you’d need a Wall charger like this Anker 18W 3Amp Quick Charge 3.0 USB Wall Charger or this USB-C type Anker 30W Power IQ 3.0 USB C Charger, PowerPort III miniSo far from using the charger it has done what it’s supposed to and my phone (Samsung S9+ happily receives a charge from it). I use this Anker PowerLine+ USB-C to USB 3.0 cable which is fast charging compatible cable if you did choose a fast charger which works perfectly!Overall I can’t fault the product, it does what it says and can charge up to 2 devices at the same time at standard charging speeds.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

- Overview -When reviewing a phone charger, there really isn’t much to say; it either works or doesn’t. Anker is a very popular and reputable brand, so as you would expect, this charger functions perfectly.The charger is packaged inside a small, minimalistic box with the “Anker” branding on it, in addition to information as to what to do if any problem is experienced with the product.My phone (The Nexus 6), has a very large battery size, when compared to other phones on the market, which is required to power the gigantic screen. As you would expect, a battery with a large capacity will take longer to charge. It is for this reason, that it is very important that I use a charger that can output a lot of power, in order to minimise charging time.This charger does exactly this. It is able to output up to 2.4 amps per socket, which is more than most traditional chargers. In my situation, this higher output resulted in huge differences. Previously using my weaker charger, it would take about 3 hours to fully charge my phone. With this charger, I was able to charge my phone in about 2 hours, which is undoubtedly a massive improvement.As an added convenience, this charger has two sockets than can output this high level of power. I also frequently use a tablet, so this added socket is extremely convenient for me. Instead of bringing two chargers with me everywhere, I now only have to bring one. I am sure that you will also find this convenient if you use two devices.- The Good -• Able to output at a high current, so can charge connected devices very quickly.• Features two sockets, eliminating the requirement for a second charger if you use more than one device.- The Not So Good –• The charger has a soft, glossy surface. Although this looks good aesthetically, it has the minor inconvenience of attracting dirt and fingerprints. However, as this is such a minor point, I do not think that the product should lose a star over this.- Conclusion –This charger does exactly what it says on the tin, so there really isn’t much to comment on. If you currently use a low power charger, I would highly recommend upgrading to a more powerful one like this, as you will see improvements in charging time. (You can normally see your current charger power by reading the small print on the side of it).

Bought to replace an old dual usb charger that wouldn't charge modern electricals that needed more power,this charger will charge two phones without any problems,
Quality product.
Lost it, but when I had it it was working properly, a really good quality product, well worth the investment.
