Bought these trousers instead of waterproof over trousers and they performed brilliantly.. Just wore them to climb Pen Y Fan in wales... Took us 5 hours to get up and down in high winds and driving rain and if that isnt a good test I don't know what is! They performed well. Kept my legs warm and dry for the entire hike so would definitely recommend.. Great product for the price 👍🏼 (picture of me and friends half way up Pen Y Fan)

I previously bought a pair of these trousers in early 2021, and recently decided to buy again. The sizing isn’t very clear, I’m usually a size 10/12 so that’s what I ordered this time. I received a Medium, but my older ones were Small on the label. I returned the medium ones and reordered a Small (8/10). Once received I tried them on to find the waist was about two inches bigger than my old Small ones, and leg length about an inch longer. My partner suggested they might be wrongly labelled, so I returned these too, and on his advice, ordered two pairs of Small to check the sizing. Two pairs arrived today, both had larger waist measurements than my old ones, and one pair had different leg lengths! So…I’m keeping the good ones and returning the faulty leg length ones. Glad I listened to him. I’ll just have to wear the belt with the new ones, I didn’t have to with the old ones. Consistent sizing would give these a 5 star rating from me, love them otherwise, they’re so warm in winter and definitely keep the rain off.

Fantastic trousers, unfortunately the fit was way out. Luckily my daughter needed a pair and they fit her perfectly. I had ordered a pair for my husband and they were also on the very small side and I had those. Consider sizing up

You can tell these trousers are good quality as soon as you get them; warm and thick material, and at the very least water resistant (haven’t yet tested them to the full extent). But the one thing that really makes them just awful… is the sizing. I don’t know who these are tailored for… a cuboid? I got my usual size, 8-10, and the measurements are just all wrong. Legs fit fine with space. Waist is absolutely massive. Hips are way too tight, and I’m not the most hourglass shaped person in the world. I’d say size up but the extra material at the waist is honestly quite uncomfortable, but then so is the tight hips. Not sure why they say anything about being elasticated… there is pretty much no give. It’s really a shame because these trousers could have been so great, but they just seem to have been tailored for a man perhaps. Not sure whether to recommend them or not … size up I guess ?

I am a size 14/16 and ordered the XL they did not fit me they were too small, I love everything about these trousers so ordered the XXL they fit , I not used them in the rain yet but very happy with everything about them even the fact I will need to shorten them but no zips or anything on the bottom so easy job.

Where to start...Size: they're weirdly large (extremely large) on the waist. The size was the recommended one, but they're SO large, and the belt is plastic, cheap and useless (loses grip right away). Reason why I didn't send them back immediately? They're so tight on the calves that I didn't think I'd be able to fit in a smaller size. I thought I'd just suck it up as I was travelling to Scotland within days and the temperatures were cold, and I didn't have time to send them back and try something else. Big mistake.Waterproof-ness: within 20 minutes of Edinburgh rain, I was soaked through my skin, so cold, and with no chance to get changed before 4 hours. I stayed in damp trousers that had completely lost their warming qualities.They are warm in DRY weather.PLEASE ADD POCKETS ON THE WOMEN'S TROUSERS, we need pockets too, and we are all fed up with fake ones.

I was in a mad rush to get some warm waterproof trousers before the freezing UK weather arrived and these trousers definitely delivered on the promise! I did not wear any underlayers and the fleece lining kept me very comfortable and warm the whole time.I do not know yet if they are completely waterproof during torrential downpours but I can definitely say that they can whitstand light rain (and snow). As you can see in the pictures, they are very muddy and dirty but none of that got on my skin so definitely great for mucky walks!The fit is true to size - I am somewhere between UK size 10-12 which is what I ordered and they fit great! They are not tight and not too loose either. You also get a little belt with it to tighten the waist if needed.I will be ordering a second pair!

Very comfy for waterproofs. Fleece lining soft but not hot. Length good for me. Sit just over my walking boot tops. Only downside is the waist. Ordered a 10-12 and the waist has a good 6 inch extra on me. I am more a size 10 so expected some room. Got rid of the belt, too skinny and flimsy, and used my old favourite but not ideal as there is so much gathering between the belt loops. Wearing a tucked in vest to prevent chaffing. Bum and hips fit ok so have kept them. All in all excellent value and good quality. Haven’t tested the waterproof bit, but mud splatters just wipe off and don’t seep through. Might try the 8-10 but not sure I can be bothered with the faff of returning them if they’re too tight. Would recommend for daily dog walks.
WARM! WATER RESISTANT! COMFORTABLE!
The pants are perfect for sailing in colder climates. I liked them so much I bought a second pair. I’ve used them for two seasons now and like them so much, that I had to review them.

Haven’t worn these outside yet but these were exactly what I was looking for for winter hiking. Will not even need a base layer under these & are not baggy or loose like ‘snow’ pants but fit is good, material & zipper seems quite durable. Looking forward to trying them.UPDATE: amazing pants, warm yet breathable & have worn with or without base layer…so awesome just wish there were more colors!!

Perfect for Iceland tour
I ordered these pants to wear with or without leggings on a December trip to Iceland and they were perfect. I'd seen comments about the size but the choices were in numbers rather than SML and I ordered 10-12. When they shipped an XL I thought it was a mistake but it turns out they fit well for my use. One thing I noted is that the belt that came with it was too small (how could an XL be that tiny???) but I used another adjustable belt I had around. I definitely recommend these for their comfort and warmth.

Oh my goodness! These are amazing! 5 ⭐️ for sure!The warm lining makes these great for walking during the snowy days in the great north.Advice: Buy two pair!
