I've had a "Vinturi" wine aerator for some time but it rearely gets used because it's a hassle. Get the glass, hold the aerotor in one hand, our the wine with the other and hope you don't make too big a mess in the process. By building the aeration mechanism into a spout that fits into the bottle things become a lot simpler (in theory).The clear acrylic means you get to see your wine being aerated and it's not quite as noise as the Vinturi. The rubber plug means it fits reasonably securely into the opening of the wine bottle - I've only tried it on bottles with corks so far and the fit has been snug. It looks like it should fit screw-top bottles as well but I can't confirm.The wine gets nicely aerated and the tase is improved. It does take a lot longer to pour though and the spout looks a bit ungainly, extending the bottle by a fair bit. I also never felt confident enough to pour without holding the spout in place, so still needs two hands.Cleaning is a bit of a pain - there's an acrylic ring that reduces splashing but which is guaranteed to collect wine during use. It has to be removed to be washed and you're going to need to wash it if you pour any red wine or live with the purple crust that will inevitably form. The ring itself is quite thin and is removed by bending it. It feels like a matter of time before it snaps during the remove/replace washing cycle... While it's not broken this seems to work well.I still prefer a decent decanter though.

Fantastic easy to use and quick and easy to thoroughly clean product. Fits the wine bottle really well with no annoying leaks. Pours cleanly and allows for good pouring control. An excellent product and great value for money. I was also very impressed with the seller's pronpt after sales contact to ensure that their customers are happy with their buy.

I'm no wine expert but I can really taste the difference when we use this. Recommended by my parents, and bought as a gift for my boyfriend (who is quite a fan of red wine), I'm really glad I bought it. It puts air through the wine as you pour it and noticably improves the flavour.It's best to pour the wine at quite a steep angle to get the most out of the effect.

Honestly, please please please pleasd please if you drink red and cant be bothered with a cumbersome decanter that can be hard to clean, buy yourself your family your neighbours your friends one of these bad boys.They are unbelievable, from a household who are picky with their Reds they will not use anything else now and in return have bought it for others.EVERYONE and I Mean EVERYONE who has gotten one cannot believe the difference it makes.Its a no brainer, buy at two immediately (ps my family alone has bought 8!)

Arrived in good time and well packaged. Seems to do an excellent job of aerating wine, and is very easy to use. So far we have had no leaks or drips. The wine tasting book is attached to an email sent after the product arrives. Not had time to have a good look at it yet, but is is 43 pages long and seems to have some interesting information. Pleased I made this purchase, good value for money.
