About this item:

  • Angelus original Leather finishers come with an assortment of different sheens. From Matte to High Gloss. These are used to protect your paint from scratches and scrapes. 600 is a normal shine. 605 is a satin shine. 610 is a high gloss shine, and 620 is a matte finish. They come in both 1oz and 4oz.
  • Our finisher is a great top finish for all smooth leathers. Not only does it protect, but it helps your leather last longer, and can give the factory finish look to your project, whether that be a shiny, or matte finish. These are excellent for both hand-crafted work and high speed production.
  • Simply apply with a sponge, rag, wool, spray gun, or a brush and let dry. No buffing needed. This is water based, so it cleans up with soap and water
  • Will not rub off, crack, peel, or streak. Its also water resistant. Our finishers are flexible enough for belts, shoes, handbags, saddlery tack, upholstery, furniture, boots, & More!

    Directions

    Prepare: Removing top finish of shoe is necessary. Use High Quality Brushes advised to avoid brush strokes. Apply with a fine paint brush or sponge pad. Allow to dry between coats. Also may use spray gun or a air brush. For best results, make sure acrylic is clean before applying. Clean up equipment with soap and warm water. For higher gloss and scuff protection, apply a coat of Angelus Acrylic Finisher, Satin Acrylic Finisher or neutral leather paint after paint is dry.

    I used this for a pair of shoes that I didn't want a high gloss finish on. The layer dried relatively quick in a heated house in the winter, and left a nice matte finish.

    i don’t know how i feel about this honestly, i used it to protect some trainers i painted with acrylic paint as a lot of websites recommend it. when i used it, it smudged the paint but i could wipe it up. so i just covered the only painted areas so it didn’t smudge (the trainers were painted a week ago and dry) i don’t know if they will be protected from water but i guess i’ll find it if i dare to take them outside in the rain
