    After discussing beard care with a friend of mine, he suggested using some beard oil as it softens the hairs, reduces frizzyness and makes your beard smell good. I was a little skeptical but thought I'd give it a go, I've had a beard of some form or another since my teens so I had a look around and saw this beard oil offered excellent value for money so I took the plunge.I was pleasantly surprised, the oil itself is well packaged and will last a long, long time. I only needed a few drops and I could instantly feel a difference. My beard felt much smoother, was easier to run a comb through and my girlfriend even complemented me on just how soft my beard felt after using this oil. Not to mention the smell! It smells quite sweet, almost like vanilla and strawberries, the girlfriend loves it so I'm happy!The only downside is it can feel a little greasy if you use a bit too much so it can take a few applications to find that sweet spot where your beard feels soft but not greasy from too much oil. I suspect this is more down to me not having used beard oil before, rather than a fault with the product.

    Beard length.. to my moobs: straight not curly :I use honest amish for special occasions , the stuffs awesome but at £25 for 30ml its way to expensive to use everyday...This is where this comes in: its a great oil. Just the right viscosity , its 100ml at a great price and is my everyday oil. Smells man fragrant.. not girl fragrant (important for me). Customer service is impeccable (they even send an email saying thank you and give you customer service phone number, rare to care these days).I am prone to beard sores, this helps clewr em up. And it will stick down those hairs that just havent grown long enough to get trapped in other hair yet (dont shave them , they will grow and be a part of your viking girth one day !)All round Good for your beard product !

    This is described as a NON GREASY FORMULA - Our unique oil blend adds shine and absorbs quickly in to the beard and is non greasy - if applied correctly will NOT leave an oily residue on the outside of the hairDescribed as -Non Greasy Formula - 7/10 (This depends on the end user I have a large fairly dry beard if combed in correctly you can get away with 3 to 5 drops but it still left a oily feel to my bear)Nourishes And Thickens Hair Giving Shine (YES, it feels nice on your face and beard.) 10/10Stop Itching Fast And Condition (I would agree it does help stop itching) 10/10Sweet Scent (It has a Very Sweet scent smells like mandarins) 10/10Premium Beard Conditioning Oil For Men (YES, I would class this a a premium oil for sure.) 10/10What did I think 10/10 smells and feels grate, left my beard soft to the touch helped with itching... the only reason I am giving this 4 Stars is the smell was too sweet for my liking its almost got a woman's perfume smell to it did not feel manly lol if that makes any sense!Would I recommend this to anyone - YES if you like the smell of mandarin's

    As a lazy man, growing a beard is a natural progression from pretending to save water and not wash. The freedom of not having to succumb to the latest and craziest incarnation of the Gillette/Wilkinson razor that can now shave your face whilst doing the washing up and fetching the shopping is almost invigorating.From an early age I realised that being hairy had both its positives and negatives. I was the 1st 11yr old in my PE class with pubes but I was also shaving every day from age 13. Now I have had a beard on and off for about 5 years and have kept it fairly low maintenance. By low, I mean I wash it when I have a shower. Now as a man, I thought that was it in terms of upkeep; apart from the odd search for lost food, but boy was I wrong. I recently have developed what can only be described as Hells version of beard dandruff! Apparently this is actually a thing and a quick search on the internet brought up a wealth of causes and cures.The one that kept reoccurring was the use of beard oils. Now I have dabbled in the past but this was short lived, especially as the bottle was small enough to leave a smurf feeling cheated. So I decided to hunt Bolo and I came across the word 'Sale' and I was sold! I looked at the reviews and everything seemed good, so clicked away and got it next day.Now I have had this itch and dandruff for a couple of months, and I have used various moisturizers, dandruff control shampoos and none of them have done any good. Now I received the item on Saturday and now on Monday I can safely say the itchiness and redness has gone completely, and what’s more remarkable is that there are no more flakes. Not a single one. It’s as though the hair bailiff’s turned up and kicked them all out overnight and they left without saying goodbye (not that I’m complaining)Now I have been doing the following things along with using the oil to combat this, so feel free to try if you too are suffering1.wash beard with cold water (morning and night) using mild shampoo (kids one is best)2.Thoroughly dry beard with towel and hair dry afterwards (this is important)3.apply oil to beard and work through to the ends.Job done.Not only has this done what I originally bought it for, it has also made my beard fell lovely and soft and it also smells quite nice in a non metrosexual I shave my legs and trim my eyebrows sort of way. You can still maintain your manliness with the added benefit of not looking like you have been eating dry toast all over your clothes. I will definitely buy this again and would highly recommend to any real men with beards. Not the hipsters with their skinny jeans and checked shirts drinking pims down the local yuppy bar. Men with kids and wives that are too busy to shave and grow beards because it’s a rite of true manliness.

    The quality of the oil seems to be good. It does soften my beard.But the smell is cheap, unpleasant and quite strong. As to overpower by Parfum, so not ideal.

    Not only does it smell nice, but it stops the 'itchy beard' effect. You can rub it by applying to a finger and rubbing in or a small amount on the palms and rub it in or the way I do it, is to hold the bottle against my beard and gently squeeze a line of oil just below the top of my beard line then using my beard brush, brush the oil into my beard down to the bottom of beard. It works a treat. The itchy beard stops almost immediately and it smells really nice too.

    I've been using this oil for about a week now. I like the subtle smell of vanilla and sandalwood. About the only complaint I have is the scent is a little too subtle. The oil actually lasts all day, but the scent is gone after a few hours. If you're planning on also using a cologne, this works well. If you're planning on using this as a cologne, you may want to get an oil with a stronger, longer lasting smell. This works great at the office if you have people who are sensitive to strong smells... and the oil is good all day long!

    I had been using the Gentlemans Face Care Club conditioning balm before. I really like the way it smells,and conditions my beard. I purchased the oil and it smells a little sweet, but it works well with the balm. I like both together due to way it keeps my beard moisturized, and allows for ease of grooming, and just the right amount of hold for my tight afro textured beard.

    This is in my rotation of beard oils. I have three different ones that I alternate between and I like the results of all of them. However I find myself most often going for this one mainly because of the flip top lid makes it much easier to use that having to twist off the lids of my others.The scent is pleasant but doesn't linger long, which is what I prefer.

    After trying a few different beard oils over the course of the past 2 years, I've been using this beard oil twice a day for a little over a week and I can say it's definitely helped my beard feel more soft and more full. Also smells great! I think this is going to be my go-to from now on.

    This oil is nice. It does everything a beard oil is supposed to do. It has hints of coconut and citrus.It is just my preference but I would like a little Sandlewood mixed in. A litle more of a "woodsy" smell. You do get about twice as much oil here than you do with others for the same price. I might just use this as a base and add a drop or two of other essential oils until I find my scent. Bolo sells these essential oils and there are websites explaining how to make your own beard oil concoctions. The initial expense is higher but depending on how much you use, this could be MUCH cheaper in the long run. I just talked myself in to it. Oh well, this was a good place to start.Addendum: This is barely more than joboba oil with a drop or two of other stuff. I added some Sandlewood and a couple of other oils like I said I would, and now it's pretty special. I could have done that for much less. That is why this looses a star. 3 is about right. Start with a base oil and just tinker till you find your grove. It sounds expensive but it isn't in the long run. Besides, you will freak out your buddies and their better halves when you give them some of your creation. They won't belive you made it. I call them my "Smell Goods".
