Perhaps I should have read the reviews in a bit more detail. The description, one of the smallest and Lightest 10000mAh external batteries, ultra-compact swayed me. Thinking it would be ideal for the Missus to put in her handbag to take on holiday I opted for this model having spent days trawling through and reading about the competition.Good points. Its reasonably fast at charging and looks well made. Its got a decent 18 month warranty. It does not have a usb c connection so I am guessing the design is a tad dated but not a biggie but just remember not to forget your charging cable.Portability, well its not exactly made for a handbag or manbag. Weighing in at 187g on the scales just now its the same weight as most mobiles so if your carrying both you will certainly know it. If you happen to have a Samsung Galaxy Ultra at 225g you are not going to hike this combination around for long. So its into the backpack, satchel, shopping bag, glove compartment for this beauty.So initial impressions are thats its a good charger but "lightweight" needs to be viewed in context.

I've had mine since 2019 and it's still performing well. I have a bigger Anker 20K Mah, also excellent but this one is so easy to carry around and has enough power for a day out to keep phone & camera batteries charged up. I only came to this page because I'd thought I'd lost it & wanted to buy something very similar, I was surprised in this day & age to find it's still being sold new 5 years on but would buy again without any hesitation.

Firstly, this is simply an excellent power bank. From a full charge, I got three full recharges and a good half to three-quarters again into my 6S.It's very small but does have a little weight to it, although nothing that comes close to feeling uncomfortable at all. It's beautifully packaged and presented, also including a small carrying pouch in the box. The unit didn't generate much heat at all even after hours of constant use, which was a concern I had initially given its small size, and really helps its 'go anywhere' design.The four LEDs on the top show how much power remains in the battery, which could be more specific but serve their purpose perfectly well.It charges quickly enough from a 12W Apple wall charger and its own micro-USB cable (I left it overnight but it was essentially full as I went to bed after a couple of hours of charging prior to that) and charges my iPhone very quickly, the maximum output being 12W just like the Apple charger. This means it should also charge an iPad very quickly too, although you will get fewer recharges as the iPad battery capacity is considerably larger than the iPhone's. I haven't had chance to try this yet but I know what to expect from my 12W Apple wall charger and fully expect this will be the same as the power output is the same across the two chargers.If you use a compatible Android handset, the little Anker will charge it using Qualcomm's latest QuickCharge 3.0 spec for super-quick charging - I don't own one so I can't comment on this personally. I've heard good things though, and it's a good feature if you have it.I've also used it to charge my Nintendo Switch using a USB-A to USB-C cable, where it added around 5 1/2 hours of playtime on Zelda before the Switch fell back to its own battery. It also continually charged the Switch during this time, although not super-quickly.I would like to have maybe seen it include an additional USB port for charging another device simultaneously, but that is nit-picking at this price and would have detrimentally affected its incredible portability - one of the main draws for me as my phone and Switch travel most places with me and it's great to have such an awesome power source that I don't have to think about. I can't recommend it enough, especially at this price. No-brainer for people who regularly travel with their tech.

A second purchase after so pleased with original, other family members wanted too. Compact size, at least 4 full charges, helpful indicator so can quickly see how many charges remaining. Doesn’t take too long to charge up - although we usually just plug in overnight when we need to. Great for travelling & camping. Anker a reliable brand.Only slight disappointment was that my original purchase included a perfectly sized mesh carry bag but this one didn’t.

I bought this as my iPhone battery was in pretty bad health and didn't last very long. Absolutely amazing product. I get about 4 charges from a full Powerbank which is really good. Takes a while to charge the powerbank up (about 24h from empty to full), but that's understandable considering how many charges you get from a full powerbank!
