Ingredients
Sugar, WHEAT flour, white chocolate chunks (9%) (sugar, whole MILK powder, cocoa butter, skimmed MILK powder, emulsifier (SOY lecithin), flavouring), chocolate chips (7%) (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, flavouring, emulsifier (SOY lecithin)], palm fat, fat-reduced cocoa powder (3%), raising agents (sodium carbonates, diphosphates, calcium phosphates), thickener (cellulose powder), corn starch, salt, emulsifier (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), stabiliser (xanthan gum), flour treatment agent (ascorbic acid).

A generous amount of Muffin Mix in each pack. I was surprised to see that the paper Muffin Cases were also included inside, which I found very convenient for the job. I also liked the fact that the actual packaging comes ready to place on your shelf by simply pulling the top off with your thumbs.My Muffins didn't come out as good looking as the photograph illustration on the Betty Crocker box. I think I added a touch too much oil to my batch. (You'll also need one large egg) They still tasted good. And they were full of delicious chocolate chunks!! Relaxing to make on a Sunday afternoon whilst my partner was out at work.

We bought these when lockdown started last year, it might seem silly but cakes and treats were important as a family activity and as a treat for the kids. And flour, yeast and such was difficult to get hold of.It meant we could bake a batch really quickly and these are great muffins-I don't care who says that cake mixes are not 'proper' cooking, the Betty Crocker mixes never fail to let you down rather than the guesswork which comes with cakes from scratch.These are large, moist and choc-full muffins that are best eaten straight from the oven (well cool them down a little but you get the drift)Warm, gooey and very satisfying with a cuppa, we still have these on subscription every other month and are not tired of them yet.
