    The NHS patient advice is that some people with IBS have found that probiotics help and you are encouraged to take them for several weeks. The NHS patent advice emphasised that there is insufficient research to make a definite recommendation and that the type and strength of probiotic seems to matter . I have had IBS flares for many years but they only lasted a day or so. Nothing like the last six weeks misery of a attack. Cramps, diarrhoea , zilch appetite , fear of eating , weight loss , feeling very weak and very low in mood . Every minute of tge day a struggle. I sent for these probioticsout out of desparation after reading the reviews . As has been said elsewhere the customer service with this company is excellent. I sent a question on a Sunday and had an detailed email back from Sarah almost immediately . I was worried whether the probiotics might increase my nausea and Sara suggested that if I was concerned to start off taking them every alternate-day She also quickly answered a further email about when to take them . Nevertheless I deferred for three weeks . I then took took them every day with water for two weeks on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. The last 10 days I switched to taking them every day with food , taking care not to have a hot drink for an hour afterwards . This will be my preferred way of taking them which I wish I had started earlier . I have to say that after three weeks and especially in the last week , my IBS appears to have completely cleared up. I do wish I had started them straight away at the onset of my attack!. I have to say that I also started an audio hypnotherapy course which is also supposed to be helpful because of the gut-brain connection . I think that certainly helped my attitude and may have helped to relax my bowel. But my instinct tells me that the probiotics have worked some kind of magic and my cramps, bloating , pain and general stomach distress seems to have completely abated . I now feel well am eating with appetite and without any problem and energy has returned. Everyone is an individual and I did also make some dietary adjustments (reducing insoluble starches ) but that made no difference to the first three weeks of my misery .I regard these probiotics as a lifeline . I have written a full review because there is so much contradictory discussion around IBS, and I would honestly advise anyone suffering from this wearing condition to give these probiotics a try and to persevere. They seem to have no side effects and you have nothing to lose but you may find a total remission of your symptoms as I have so far.

    Finding this is helping after taking for a couple of weeks, not feeling so bloated and also eating healthier. It was really nice and helpful to get an email explaining all about these and how they can help. Will definitely be taking the course to give them chance to work for the future as explained as in the past I have stopped taking supplements too early if I have felt worse after a couple of days, well worth giving them time to work.

    I purchased these Probiotics to try in comparison to the Probio 7 Advanced range normally available from Holland and Barrett.As most people know, H&B are not the cheapest supplier of alternative medicines, so it pays to look around.I started using probiotics as a desperate trial to get my un diagnosed digestive condition under control, following 18 months of unexplained weight loss, upset stomach and digestion.I have been tested for Coelic, Chrons/colitis, bowel cancer, IBS/IBS. All came back negative or inconclusive.I purchased your NutriZing probiotics as an alternative to Probio 7 and the symptoms had remained at bay, so I will continue to take them.A 100% cure? Who knows, but If I have to take one of these babies a day for the rest of my life to avoid feeling as bad as I did, then its worth every penny!Its great to be feeling normal again and I have regained my lost energy at work and it my daily gym routine.

    I have several stomach problems which i have learned to live with but the one thing I hate is my bloated stomach, I am slim built but my stomach makes me look pregnant a lot, which at 50 yrs old is not a good look :( Having read about these Probiotics I thought all my prayers had been answered but alas after taking them now for 16 days there is not one bit of difference!! I also had thought they were to help with the immunity system, so as I have virtually no immune system I thought great.... But again I see no difference and I'm now sitting loaded with a cold lol... So can I recommend these ??? I'm afraid not........

    I am very pleased with this item. It arrived very quickly and seems to be helping with my problem. I have completely cut artificial sweetners of All Types out of my diet due to a plethora of health issues they were giving me. It appears that artificial sweetners alter the gut flora so during my detox from them I was experiencing the most horrific stomache pains and indigestion. I was advised to take a good probiotic to help with restoring my gut flora and these seem to have done the trick. I feel so much better after taking them for just over a week now and all the digestive problems and pain have gone. I would recommend this product to anyone contemplating cutting artificial sweetners from their diet or taking antibiotics . In fact I would consider it a necessity.

    There has been, and is still ongoing, a great deal written about Probiotics. I have taken Probiotics for over fourteen years.Probiotics - High Strength 10 is an excellent product, and an essential aid for people who prefer to keep their body in good order without using chemicals. Of course, prescription medicines, tablets have their use and place. The marvellous thing about Probiotics is that they work ''undercover'' there are no side effects, no overt improvement, just that everything appears to function normally. Anyone who suffers from Crohns Disease or any other similar gut problem and gets stomach pain, usually associated with these problems, may discover that taking probiotics on a daily basis helps alleviate stomach pain. My advice is try Probiotics - High Strength 10 ... if they do no good, they will do no harm. Worth a try, for your health's sake.
