    I had to upgrade my tool set to battery tools. This is an amazing light weight, precise,Easy to handle and carry...I can highly recommend this for any project, especially if you have to jump in and out jobs. The built in LED light is a bonus...So all together this tool is an Ace.You must have the minimum 5Ah battery or bigger.

    Only made a few cuts so far but it’s so quiet and precise that I know it’s going to be great with the rest of my XPS kit. As somebody else said in a review the cordless stuff has come on a huge amount since I bought my original stuff years ago! It’s just a joy to use.EDIT - Dec 2018. It’s now been used for fencing and 50m2 of decking. Cuts 6*2 softwood no problem, 4 inch posts (with a flip over!), decking boards, etc. The fact that the blade is only 1.2mm thick means it can cope. Defintely worth getting the Dewalt stand - might cost £100 but once the jobs finished you can sell it on Ebay for £60 plus 😀.

    Loved the idea of a smaller, lighter and compact mitre saw for work and it runs on batteries. Not cheap though, and at least mine doesn't slide particularly smoothly, hopefully it will free up with more use. Can't recommend it enough otherwise a great saw.

    Hallo,im März 2017 war ich auf der Suche nach einer Paneelsäge. Sie sollte leicht, nicht zu groß aber leistungsfähig sein. Die DeWalt 18v Akkusäge DCS365N erregte mein Interesse. Nun habe ich schon die ein oder andere Arbeit damit erledigt. Da ich ja schon Besitzer von einigen Akkus bin, reichte die "N" Version aus, also ohne weiteres Zubehör.Die Anforderungen waren: Panelle bis 200mm Breite, Dachlatten bis 50mm Dicke und diverse andere nicht so groß dimensionierte Arbeiten ausführen zu können. Also bestellte ich die Säge welche auch kurzerhand geliefert wurde.Mit einem 18v 5ah Akku ging es dann auch schon los und so wurde der rund 20m² Ausbau des Dachgeschosses zur Spaß Aufgabe. Mit dem XPS-Schnittlinienanzeigesystem ist präzises arbeiten vorangekündigt. Winkel lassen sich schnell und genau per Schnellverstellung auf links wie rechts je 48,° einstellen. Bei der Erst Verwendung sollte aber zur Konfiguration der eingestellte Winkel mit einem Winkelmesser kontrolliert werden. Die  Skala lässt sich mit einem Schraubendreher korrigieren.Als Arbeitserleichterung legte ich mir noch den "DeWalt Kompaktes Universal-Untergestell DE7033" mit Werkstückauflagen zu. Er ist bis 2,50m ausziehbar und macht die Nutzung der Kappsäge noch leichter und vielseitiger. Was soll ich sagen? Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dieser kompakten und leichten Akkusäge die meinen Bedürfnissen entspricht. Sie ist leicht zu transportieren und passt problemlos in jedes Auto. Mit ca. 12kg inclusive Akku, kann sie am oberen angebrachten Griff sehr leicht transportiert werden. Ein weitere Vorteil ist die einfache Bedienung und die Unabhängigkeit von Steckdosen.Ich gebe 5 Sterne und kann nur sagen : gute Arbeit Dewalt!Mfg Miki Mann
