    Bought this a Christmas present for a relative, who kept having a problem with it locking him out, we eventually found that it has a retainer band to hold the lower batteries in but the top two batteries do not, therefore, these work loose every time the door is closed, thus causing a fault where you have to reset the code.This is a very bad design fault, but can be rectified easily. What we have done is placed a piece of 2mm thick Nano Strong double sided Grip Tape onto the inside of the cover to hold the top batteries in place, (leaving the protective film on the outer side, see photo). Any 2mm sticky pad will do. This works well but surly the manufactures should have thought of this, they obviously have no quality control. Come on manufacturers get a Grip – excuse the pun?

    Such a shame the key pad doesn't work. New batteries put in, it beeps and that is it, nothing else happens. Can use the key, so not a total waste.

    This is actually quite a solid little safe and easy to set up and use. Having a key is a good idea in case the battery runs out, as long as it's not stored nearby or in the safe! However, it isn't heavy enough, or bulky enough, to prevent anyone walking off with it, so for many uses it would need to be fixed to a wall/floor to provide any significant level of security: obvious, but thought I should mention it. Otherwise, seems a good buy for me.

    E comprado dos. Una para mí casa y otra para casa de mi padre y parece de buena calidad. Está claro que si cogen una radial cortan la caja, pero es lógico. La tengo anclada a la pared y no se la pueden llevar a no ser que la encuentren y la corten
