5.0 out of 5 stars Tiny device, amazing sound!
I was sceptical about the quality of this device as it is such good value. If you are worried about this, stop and look no further! I cannot recommend this product highly enough. It's light, portable and comes with all the cables you will ever need to connect to a hi-fi, amp, etc. Some have complained of the sound quality but I am sat now listening some good old British Rock music and the quality is amazing, punch and not over-bassy. In fact, I can't tell the difference between this and connecting straight from my laptop using the headphone cable!!I actually bought this because the headphone socket on my faithful Samsung laptop has broken and I worked it out it would be cheaper to by this Bluetooth receiver rather than get the laptop fixed! The only thing I would say is that I initially had issues get Windows 7 to pair with the device The moral of the story is: make sure you have the correct / latest Bluetooth drivers installed on your PC (which of course I didn't!!). Once my laptop drivers were correct installed and rebooted, it took only a second or two for the laptop and MR230B to pair. It delivers wonderful, crisp sound and I would happily buy one for a friend or relative.Buy one today. You will NOT regret it!
4.0 out of 5 stars August Blutooth Adaptor.
Purchased this to stream music to my Home Cinema. It functions very well, and transfers audio at good quality, as far as I'm concerned. What is disappointing it that the Bluetooth range falls off severely, and very quickly as the battery runs down. This is quite an issue as the phone or computer needs to be almost next to the unit to stream audio. If plugged into a mains charger during use, it just creates an awful hum so it is good in principal but falls down badly on practicality. Then I upgraded my system to include an AV receiver. This has a USB socket on the rear. Now I have the unit plugged into that and phono leads to the Auxilliary input. Works like a dream as it's always on full power.August products do seem quite good for a reasonable price. We have 2 of their Bluetooth Speakers around the home too. Brilliant for such tiny units!
1.0 out of 5 stars White Noise
Hearing A LOT of ‘white noise’ when using this product with my TV/AirPods. Started off working well but after 20mins I could hardly hear the TV over the noise. Will be returning.
3.0 out of 5 stars It's Okay. But avoid if audio quality matters to you.
It's OK - it picks up a bluetooth audio signal - and converts it to audio. So you can play music back from the excellent Bolo Music App on your ipod / ipad / laptop etc - and play it back on your stereo. It's easy to find your bluetooth signal - and the supplied leads make it easy to connect to your chosen stereo. So it does what it says on the tin - it just doesn't do it very well.Power.It needs to be powered by a 5v usb source. The usb to 5v power lead is included - but you will need a usb power connector that plugs into the mains.( such as your ipad power charger )There is a rechargeable battery in the August unit - and the charge lasts for a round a day.Sound QualityThis is the BIG disappointment. The DAC - or Digital Audio Converter isn't very good. It's OK.The Bass end lacks bass definition. The High end distorts - especially as the battery loses chargeAlso - the output from the unit isn't very generous.Which means you have to turn your speakers up much louder than if you connected your iPad directly using an audio lead - and this means you're going to hear much more background noise. This definitely falls into the "buy cheap - buy twice" category. And I would recommend you might want to consider buying a unit several times the price of this unit - if audio quality matters to you.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wireless Heaven
I've had this sub-matchbox sized bit of kit for only two days but it has brought a better way of listening to music/radio from my Z1 Compact phone using my old 1970s analogue JVC amp/stereo system and a newer Denon digital DAB/CD/amp, both with powered speakers (Mission). I can now, without having to trail wires from my phone to the amps, listen to tracks and playlists while working or doing chores and still answer the phone without dragging wires. The set up was easy on either Android or iOS devices - the tiny manual is all you need. It comes with two short leads for connection to either a 3.5mm stereo input socket or a pair of RCA plugs for Aux In sockets on the back of an amp. The fully charged battery lasted about 3 or 4 housr of continuous play but it will also work with the DC charging lead plugged in. No charger is supplied but the lead has a USB plug which fits a standard Android or Apple tablet/phone mains plug charging unit. This device is fantastic value for money and gives excellent sound quality with surprisingly robust base frequencies - no need for boost. Thoroughly recommended.

Very impressive for the cost: I have a lovely hi-fi system that is about 16 years old and, obviously, doesn't have bluetooth. I had bought a Phillips 'micro music system' mainly for the Bluetooth capability but the sound from the (single) speaker dock was nowhere near as good as the sound from my proper hi-fi system. Then I saw this and thought, what the heck, for £10 let's give it a go. Well it works fine, my iPad can now stream perfectly through the hi-fi system and the sound is fine - certainly no worse than through the previous (now sold) dock system. Being so small it is very portable so I can easily move it around; plugged into the Denon Soundbar under my TV system, I suddenly have a 'surround' sound system for my streamed music! Like I say, for the money, this is impressive.
5.0 out of 5 stars Adapter
Ok
Great Little Device for No-Lag Connection
Paired easily, great sound transmisssion, and had no lag at all.I use this with my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, which doesn't have an audio out port (wireless & bluetooth only). It's perfect for plugging in directly to older audio systems that don't have those capabilities, or for when I don't want to connect my entire phone (and all of its personal data) to another system (like in someone else's car, a rental, etc.). Works great!
Good sound quality
Good sound quality but the bluetooth is ok.
Dann neu verbinden. Bei beiden Geräten Taste länger halten. Sollte in Betriebsanleitung stehen. Leider etwas knifflig bei allen Bluetooth Verbindungen. Zusätzlich sicherstellen das keine anderen Geräte zum Verbinden bereit sein könnten.
