I am so pleased with this stuff! I have been searching for ages to find a sugar substitute that I can make meringues with and this is it! It works perfectly and just like normal icing sugar. I have used some for making icing as well and that worked brilliantly too. There is no unpleasant aftertaste either.

Like icing sugar it's v light n difficult to decant from bag that seals well in2 my cupboard container. It's white and tastes v nice not quite like icing but a perfect sweetener that isn't grainy to the palette only used in cooking so far. But my daughter used it as icing n said its a good substitute. Would recommend to diabetic type 2 like me or if u just cutting out sugar. Has no calories but high carbs and too much can b high in fibre.

This is a good low calorie/sugar alternative to icing sugar. I diabetic but I still enjoy baking and this allows me to create icing etc and not spike my blood sugars. It comes in a 1 kg resealable bag and you use it just as you would icing sugar. It is easy to use and blends well and I don’t feel the need to sift it before I use it as I would with icing sugar so that’s a bonus. There is a bit of an aftertaste with this, which is common with most sweetners, so it can be a bit of trial and error to get it so it is not quite so strong. For example when I made some lemon icing I used a but more lemon juice as that made that flavour more predominant. I think if you have used sweetners before you will get what I mean and this is no different than most. I will definitely get it again though as I can make it work for me, it is easy to use and the price is quite reasonable.

As a lifelong sweetener hater, this stuff tastes exactly like sugar, I cannot tell the difference. I tend to use the powdered variety as it dissolves better in cooking. I use it spoon for spoon just like I would sugar

I tried using this to make icing for keto lemon cakes. I didn’t use it on the cakes as it immediately left a really strong cooling sensation in my mouth. Reminded me of some mint sweets from years ago called cool mints ( they were a kind of square shaped with a dip in the middle). It is a shame as the icing tasted quite sweet but was immediately overpowered by the coolness. I had used it in the cake mixture itself and that tasted fine with no cool aftertaste so maybe it is best used for baking and not icing. For a sugar alternative I think it is good value For money and will last a while.

Eritritolo puro alimentatore privo di zuccheri e carboidrati perché fa parte della categoria dei polioli e non degli zuccheri.Dolcifica quasi quanto lo zucchero, ma non innalza la glicemia e non ha calorie.Si scioglie meno bene dello zucchero, ma se lo si usa in polvere a velo, si scioglie benissimo.
Dilution à froid
Se dissout un peu plus difficilement que le sucre en poudre, mais finit toujours par fondre (liquide sortant du frigo).Je l'utilise pour la 1ère fois et je dois dire que pour la 1ère fois aussi, je suis incapable de trouver une différence entre un édulcorant et le goût du sucre 😁 (j'ai horreur de la Stevia, et de la saccharine).Je précise que j'adore la menthe, mais effectivement, lorsqu'on le goûte seul, il a ce même petit goût frais. Pour ma part, je n'en suis pas gênée, au contraire, puisque je l'utilise pour faire du thé glacé à la menthe. Je mettrai mon commentaire à jour à l'automne, quand je passerai à mon thé hivernal goût russe et donc sans menthe.Sachet peu pratique, je fais un transfert dans une boîte hermétique pour éviter l'humidité et les grumeaux qui fondent plus difficilement. Mériterait un autre emballage...
