5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet! Tasty!
Been using the maple syrup on my plain porridge and it tastes better than golden syrup flavour porridge, not as sweet and sickly, still sweet but I dictate it's sweetness and tastes like maple syrup should taste 10/10. Yes the syrup is runny but let's just say you put regular treacle or maple syrup on your pancakes or waffles, once the syrup is warmed up it goes runny anyway, this is less sticky and less messy so it's a winner for me especially with zero calories. Will be using the butter scotch one to sweeten my reconstituted pbfit so it tastes slightly more sweeter like a reeces peanut butter cup flavour but without the terrible macros that go with it.Hasn't messed up my gut microbiome either which is impressive to me as i have trouble processing certain foods, if I have too much milk I'll have painful inflammation, if I eat white bread I'll get painful inflammation, if I eat too much sugar (it's literally in everything) I'll get painful inflammation so I like the fact that i can eat foods with this and not get punished by my immune system for eating absolute garbage with little to no nutritional value for me.
4.0 out of 5 stars Tasty
This is a tasty treat and feel guilty free! I use it instead of honey at times. It’s a pretty good substitute but it’s thinner than honey. I do wish the bottle was bigger and the price was cheaper.
5.0 out of 5 stars Maple syrup but without the calories
Love the flavour of this syrup. It looks, smells and tastes just like the full sugar version. Easy to pour. If there was a criticism it would be that the syrup is runnier than expected. Still, if you have to drench that stack of pancakes in syrup, at least this is a less calorific way to do so.
3.0 out of 5 stars Odd consistency
I guess it's because it's 'zero calories' but the consistency leaves a lot to be desired. Less of a syrup and more watery than expected. The flavour is still great, but you can taste the artificial aspect of the sweetener more than you would like. Still not too bad
5.0 out of 5 stars Authentic taste
Easy to add to recipes
1.0 out of 5 stars I'm not fussy, but I fail to see how anyone could enjoy this.
I hate to criticise any company offering keto-friendly food, but this just wasn't acceptable. I bought maple syrup flavour and butterscotch flavour.Regarding flavour, there's absolutely no hint of maple syrup - in fact, I would say this one tasted more like butterscotch than the butterscotch one. It's only mildly sweet, not too overpowering (which normally I'd say is a good thing). The two main issues are:1) It failed to flavour ANYTHING that I added it to. I ended up putting so much of this in my sugar-free yogurt that it was more "syrup" than yogurt - and I still couldn't taste it over the mild flavour of the yogurt.2) The consistency is horrific. They shouldn't call it syrup because it sets completely the wrong expectation. It has the consistency of slightly slimy water. It's just slimy flavoured water and it's unpleasant.I haven't tried other keto-friendly "syrup" options yet, so I don't know if any others are better. But this is not usable for me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for dieting sweet tooth
Awesome on porridge and Greek yogurt for those who need a sweet kick without the calories!
4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price
I bought 2 different flavours as they were both on offer £2.95 and for that value I would buy again. I have mainly used in porridge and pancakes. Flavour could be seen as slightly artificial like, but was fine for my tastebuds
Nul
Man muss immer wissen was man kauft.
