Cleared up my very persistent thrush so very grateful. Why the doctors don't recommend this I don't know, much better than doctors pessarys. This also is colorless and has no smell, which is great.For making sure it doesn't return I moved on to yeast arrest, which seemed to work better in the long run.

I found out about this when searching for something to help and stumbling across a thread on Mumsnet - this was a lifesaver when nothing else would work. I’d highly recommend getting this and if you don’t need it regularly just keep a box in a cupboard as standby. Fantastic.

As a long time recurrent thrush sufferer (5 anguishing years now), this product has been pretty revolutionary for me. I find regular anti-fungal drugs like over-the-counter creams irritating and ineffective, as they often cause the same symptoms for me that they are designed to treat, and they only work short-term. I first used the Floraplus tubes after my most recent thrush episode, which I treated with a Fluconazole tablet and a max strength pessary. I used the first 5 tubes over the five nights following this treatment, and found it a soothing, pleasant relief compared to my usual thrush treatment experience! The tubes are easy enough to use, though it can be a little fiddly trying to squeeze every last drop out of the tube and into your nether-regions - hence the 4 rather than 5 stars. I did experience a mild burning sensation (which I guess just shows how out of whack my pH was) after the initial insertion, though this eased after a few minutes. I also didn't notice too much reappearance the next day - unlike the partially-dissolved-dishwasher-tablet-look I'm used to with pessary treatments. Since then, I've managed to deter the reoccurrence of thrush by regularly using the Floraplus tubes, along with the probiotic Canesflor cap-lets which I find make the perfect combination. It's even brought me back from the brink a few times when I feel that familiar tingle start to develop. All in all, it's a pricey routine but well worth it to break my seemingly never-ending cycle of thrush bouts.
