We have purchased these trains a few times! They work really well, are reliable, simple to use (just one big button that goes forwards, middle for stop, or backwards), last longer than other ones we've tried, and are good value for money! Very impressed!They go at a good speed with new batteries, and becomes slower as the batteries become worn out, but that's fine! They go backwards and forwards, and can pull many carriages, including uphill. They work on tracks and across floors.The kids love them and so do I! Wonderful electric trains!

Excellent little train, with a nice light on it which our 2 year old enjoys. Slider a little difficult for that age however, so we find he prefers to play with the alternative "brave little engine" instead which just has a push button. But - good build quality, nice to have a metal frame, and able to get up ramped track with ease.

10 times better than the first electric train I bought for my 3 year old.Two main points:1) It can pull a lot of carriages - the Ikea one managed 1 or 2 at best, this can pull 7 (actually may be more, as 7 is all we have!)2) It has a slip clutch so if your toddler stops it from running or manually pushes it the motor is not forced, this should mean it's tolerant to damage. The Ikea version lacks this.

The pictures show it needs 2xAA batteries, it doesn’t. It needs 2xAAACompatible with all wooden tracks (Brio, ikea etc)

This was a great buy for my grandson. Good build quality and should survive plenty of play. It's very sturdy and has a good weight to it. He prefers it to the brio engine I also bought. Great value for the money.

Brilliant train- compatible with our Ikea track and trains. Pushes around non battery powered one too. Kids love it.

We have two different make trains and this one is a lot faster. It lights up too which is a bonus for our 3 year old. Only slight annoyance is the off switch is hard to do while the trains moving for a 3 year old.Climbs the tracks and bridges easily but not a fan of sharp corners.Great purchase and my boy is very happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. Good made and goes on generic train tracks. Was a Christmas present and my son loves it. Doesn’t make noise as said in the picture only light up. We bought as though the light and the noise would make it a nice experience for my son but only lights up. Also the button is not really good and true ing it on or of as get easily get stuck or it’s flimsy to move back and forward to change directions

Ravie d'avoir pu me procurer cet article difficile à trouver pour mon petit fils, rapide, bien emballéATTENTION cependant les vis du compartiments à batteries sont triangulaires !! Pour ne pas avoir de pleurs et déception devant l'impossibilité de l'ouvrir le jour où vous l'offrez .... achetez des tournevis triangulaires comme je viens de le faire sur Bolo(15$ les 6 les petits sont à la bonne dimension)
Perfect gift for kids!
The media could not be loaded. Bought this few weeks ago for my two year old son. He really likes and is intrigued by the train. The train does really well of pulling few carts. So it’s really strong. The durability is great as well! I would definitely recommend buying the train for your kids. It’s a great gift and great fun!It stays on the train track; it performs really well! As you can see, the train stays on the tracks while pulling some carts.It’s definitely easy to use and to install battery inside the train. My 4 year old daughter would like one too, so I might order another one for her. Overall, I really like the train. I don’t see any issues. It last longer than I expected. My kids play with it for at least an hour and it’s still going. I believe it also depends on what brand of battery you use. If you buy cheap batteries, it won’t last that long.
