I live in a hard water area so a filter kettle is a necessity, this is the first time I have brought Russell Hobbs.Well built, attractive looking Brita filter kettle which boils quickly and quietly (a blue light illuminates when the kettle is boiling).The kettle feels sturdy and the handle is easy to grip. As the element is concealed there is no more fuzzed up element and no more bits of sediment floating in the water.The first few times I used it the spout dripped, but once I got used to the ‘pour’ it was fine, no more drips.The capacity is less than my previous kettles, but is fine for a smaller household.UPDATE:-I have now had this kettle for 18 months and it is still working fine, still delivering lovely mugs of tea and coffee. My only reason for marking it down from 5 stars to 4 stars is its size.It is fine on a day to day basis but when you have visitors you have to serve the drinks in relays as the kettle can only boil enough for 3 mugs at a time.When I need to buy a new kettle I will make sure its capacity is more than 1 litre.

This kettle is a dream! We live in a hard water area and I had no choice but to buy this high Speed kettle. The lighting is pretty cool and it’s very easy to set up. Heating takes no time and no Leakage the Lid is very easy to open and there’s a digital thermometer to monitor when the filter needs changing. The switch is easy too. Worth every penny and highly recommended

I live with my grandma and she has carers.. They fill the damn kettle to the brim to make 1 cup. This Kettle has saved me so much money... legit £100s. It has a low capacity 2.5 mugs? Needs refilling every time its used. I LOVE IT!.. Clean waters a bonus. I reset the filter timer 3 times before I change it.1. Because i'm tight as muck.2. Because it tastes good to me :)

Love this kettle. I dont have to have a jug cluttering up my work surface or taking up room in the fridge. Just change my filter in the jug once a month. You can just filter water through it without having to boil it too. Boils up really quickly, and has a nice blue light illuminating the kettle when boiling. I have had glass a kettle before which exploded, so this plastic see through kettle is fine for me. Not very loud when boiling, reasonably light to hold, looks good and easy to fill.The only little gripe l have with this kettle is that the lid is white so does not (in my humble opinion) contrast well with the silver metal and plastic body of the kettle. But that is something l can put up with as l am really pleased with the kettle up to now. I have had it fora month now and no problems. Well worth the money.I would put up a video of the kettle working but unfortunately my phone not allowing me to do it at the moment

Somewhat disappointing to that of the Breville Brita filer kettle i was replacing due to general wear. Firstly the filling compartment is rather small and the detail of the description is misleading, it will only except 1 litre of water and not 1.5.Secondly the handle has no switch on it to flip the lid open and the handle itself has no real grip. Plus point it looks nice and clean, ,boils within a minute and the base allows the kettle to swivel round well, with a slightly longer flex to boot. Its okay bit could be better.

I'm a big fan of a clear cup of tea or coffee, and this kettle has exceeded my expectations! I was pleasantly surprised to find such an effective solution for preventing limescale, especially at this affordable price.It's been perfect for the first few days—fingers crossed it will last well for a long time!
