I alway consider myself a bit of a novice when it comes to these straighteners, because I have had for years and years. Before Nicky Clarke, I used GHD straighteners, but I saw these on Bolo in purple and bought them as a reasonable price.After a while I had a different pair I bought and they were fine, but not the same as these, I regretted giving them to my mum, that was five years ago. Well I had them a few years before mum, so the Nicky Clarke fizz control as above have lasted years.High end straighteners do cost a lot , from personal use of high end and above average, these fit into that category but the price is significantly less. So basically Nicky Clarkes do make them to last a long time. My mums which I gave her are coming to the end of their life. Do not get so hot and the ceramic is wearing off the plate.These straighteners are attractive to look at, have several heat options and hair is smooth after using, especially better for the hair using heat spray. If using sprays, remember to protect the straightener by wiping residue off. This will help the life of the plate.These are a great alternative to over priced main named brands, and very very good. I am hoping this set lasts just as long as my previous set.Highly recommended⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you.

This item makes light work of straightening my hair making it quick and easy to complete the job. It glides effortlessly without pulling and leaves a lovely shine. It is great being able to select the heat setting and the second setting is enough for me to get good results. The only slight downside is the cable length which is a bit shorter than my previous hair straightener. But I can live with this. I am more than happy with this product and the price paid.

The Nicky Clarke straighteners are absolutely brilliant.I have curly hair that at times can be quite frizzy. So I bought the straighteners based on the good reviews.I have now used them 3 times, each time without using heat spray. I have been really pleased with the results. They straighten my hair beautifully, no sign of any frizz or static.They are very lightweight, easy to use and heat up very quickly. The plates hold the hair really well and slide down easily along the strands.I am really pleased I got these.Update July 2024Sadly after only 8 months I have had to return them. Whilst straightening the hair the plates lock:Sometimes continuously. I contacted Nicky Clarke for support but they were unable to help. I was referred back to Bolo stating it was because I had not purchased directly from them.They were returned to Bolo & my payment refunded.
