This is great for the pool or bath, and would make a really unusual gift for a baby. In Waterbabies we use this to encourage our little ones to look up, while they're lying on their backs, so they get used to the sensation of water around their ears. It's also a handy distraction during the dreaded "Water Wobbles". The disc that fits inside the mirror protects it in your bag and also makes a nice mini Frisbee to chuck around and swim after.

We use this mirror in our Water Babies class so I am already familiar with it and wanted one for at home. I use it as a distraction on the changing table and it works great! I also love the little disk that it comes with that helps protect the mirror. My daughter loves to chew on both and I find it's very sturdy for little teeth- the foam is very resilient.
