These bulbs are fantastic quality as you would expect from Phillips.One thing to note is they leave some light distribution at the rear of the bulb if the spotlight is exposed but that is not an issue for me as looks very attractive.I would certainly order again.

The PHILIPS LED Classic Light Bulb 6 Pack is excellent! These GU10 spot bulbs provide a warm white light (2700K) and are energy-efficient, equivalent to 50W. They are non-dimmable but perfect for general lighting. Great value for money, and I'm very pleased with their performance. Highly recommend for any home!

Fits perfectly (as a standard bulb should). Good light output . . . but . . .Let's do the sums: Purchased on 24/03/2022 and installed April 2022. Between now and then (03/11/2024) is approx 2.5 years. The light is on for a maximum of eight hours per day, so . . . 2.5 x 365 x 8 = 7300 hours. Allowing for holidays and lower 'summer time usage', a nearer estimate would be 2.25 years and six hours per day i.e. 2.25 x 365 x 6 = 4930 hours.Summary: this bulb has lasted either half or one third of the time it says on the box !

Replaced some lights which were meant to be warm white in the kitchen, but looked near enough like the white lights in a hospital. Replaced them with these and it now looks like a completely new kitchen. Very nice tone, bright, low power consumption and well made. Only time will tell on durability, but overall based on first impressions I would recommend.

Some of my kitchen downright had gone and I needed to replace them. Found these gems and ordered half expecting them the be the wrong type of warm light or weak brightness. But no, they were excellent. Arrived quickly, and easily fitted. Kitchen is now much brighter. Highly recommend.

Used in kitchen ceiling. Lasted for over 6 years so far. Cheap Chinese bulbs they replaced lasted less than 2 years.
4.0 out of 5 stars You can rely on the Dutch when it comes to bulbs
A couple of lights popped in my kitchen. They have a habit of going at the same time and I decided to replace them with these energy efficient Philips LED Classic 4.6 W GU10 Glass LED Spot Lights (Replacement for 50 W Halogen Spot). They arrived the next day and slotted into the sockets easily and were just as bright as the Halogen ones that had popped. Unlike the Halogen ones these LED bulbs do not get hot, which is actually a benefit when used in a sometimes hot kitchen. Switch cycles are rated to 50,000 and the average rated lamp life is claimed to be an incredible 15,000 hours which means that if they are on for, say 4 hours a day, they should last for over 10 years. If that is the case I will be delighted.I do suspect that inevitably there may be some variance in these claims. And Philips is a good make, you can rely on the Dutch to deliver when it comes to bulbs, whether than is the light variety or tulips, they know their stuff. And, of course, Philips has its own football team (PSV) which is pretty cool when you think about it as I cannot imagine any other electronic consumer goods company doing this.I have since found out that these are available elsewhere for ever so slightly less that here on Bolo, and I am talking a few pennies. It would be churlish to give this any less than 5 stars as a result of this, especially as these last so long and the cost per day is almost negligible. But I will. 4 stars.
