    I gave this to a patient with Alzheimers disease to use as a stimulating activity and she was delighted. The solid pieces are made from good quality wood, chunky enough to hold, even with small or arthritic/stiff hands. they are well finsished in beautiful bright colours. The idea is simple, fit the pieces into the matching slots, and can be done independantly or even better with support. They have little corresponding pictures representing the letters and are good for learning phonics. Would definately recommend!

    An alphabet jigsaw is an almost essential items for any toddler in my view and Toys of Wood produce a really good version. Both the board and the letters are good and solid - the letters chunky and brightly coloured. I particularly liked the images / information on the board beneath the letters - which give both lower case and upper case versions of the letter in question, along with a sample word and a picture relating to said word. I was pleased to see Violin for V; and the other words chosen are all ones which should appeal to toddlers (train; strawberry, rabbit, zebra, duck, ball etc). I only have one gripe with this product and that is the erroneous spelling of whale (Wale), but hopefully the manufacturers will soon correct this.

    Grandma purchase for a toddler (2.5). He was attracted by the colours and shape sorting nature of the puzzle. He recognised many of the letters which encouraged speaking and singing of the alphabet song. He loved the picture surprise revealed on lifting each letter. Good that uppercase and lower case letters revealed for each letter which together with the picture encourage early phonics learning.

    Lovely Alphabet jigsaw set . Our son loves it . Would have gave it 5 stars if the M and U were dark green as it shows on the puzzle backboard. It looks a bit odd have 2 light green letters side by side (LM and TU) , especially as the E is dark green . The letters are a good size and chunky for small hands.

    Really good size, the pieces are nice and colourful and chunky so perfect for a toddler to hold and really get the feel for the letters. The pictures help her work out what the sound is, and the colours help her see where the piece goes. Seems really good quality, and has withstood a 1 year old having a go!The box it comes in is a good fit, so great for storing it afterwards without pieces going everywhere.Daughter has played with it lots since being given it.

    This was just what I was looking for - a chunky, colourful wooden alphabet with images underneath each letter which my little granddaughter would recognise. She really likes this! :)

    Bought this puzzle for my daughter. Very high quality product and love the fact that it’s made out of wood. We also own the Melissa and Doug one but this is far superior. I like how the letters are clearly cut, has pictures beneath it and are color coded. This helps my daughter with recognizing the letters. The one that we had was not as educational because my daughter will get frustrated when she couldn’t put it together and will give up all together. This is a perfect fit for my almost 3 year old daughter.

    puzzle de lettre solide mon fils de 2ans y joue parfaitement.Cependant les dessins dans les lettres sont écrit en anglais, il faut s'y attendre en lisant le nom du produit, c'est un produit anglais.personnellement cela ne me dérange pas au contraire, l'enfant peux s'ouvrir à la culture de nos pays voisins.
