5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I wanted - good quality, moderately easy to assemble and easy to use.
I read the reviews and was a little concerned, but in the end thought it looked like what I wanted and I can always send it back if it is not.Actually it's great. Some said it was difficult to assemble and took two or more hours to complete. Meh, not really. It's a lot less complicated than a Kinder toy, which used to drive me nuts. Took me about 40 minutes I suppose, though I wasn't trying to be quick. I can't imagine it really gave anybody a problem unless they were ignoring teh instructions and winging it, because a couple of bits weren't intuitive. Some said the instructions were awful. Not really. The manual is for 3 or 4 variants and in three languages. But as long as you follow it literally and carefully it's all pretty easy. Someone mention that a couple of pages were in French. Whilst true, the same pages in the French section were in English so no problem. Just swapped around I guess. On the car it feels very safe, very solid and secure construction and assembly. It holds the two bikes well, the lights are bright, the cables are a suitable length and the number plate holder is solid.Easy to put on and off the car and is well enough thought out that it will not damage either the car or the bikes in use. Though I would recommend carrying a socket with extension. The spanner for the securing bolt is a bit cumbersome and a socket makes it much easier. The electrics on my UK BMW are 13 pin so it plugged straight into my UK BMW and works fine. You'd certainly need to buy an adaptor for anything else. Not a bad looking bit of kit either. All in all, very impressed, just what I wanted and good quality for a very reasonable price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked brilliantly
Bought this because we can’t fit the old bike rack on the back of the car with the trailer on, and can only fit two bikes on the roof! It was a bit fiddly to put together, we had to go back through the instructions to find where the left over bits were supposed to go, but it’s great once done. Easy to fit to the tow bar, sturdy, bikes were easy to put on and stayed on even through the hills of Yorkshire on the back of a trailer! Well worth the price
4.0 out of 5 stars Great quality product-shocking instructions
The quality is very good as you would expect from a great company like Witter. However the instructions that came with it are probably about the worst I have come across (the pages are not even in the correct order) I ended up having to completely dis-assemble and re build on the car and trust me I am not a slouch at assembly. That said it’s built and on my car and everything works as it should. Great value - there are competitors on the market at easily twice the cost! (PS) there are better instructions (in colour available to down load and specific to this model)Additional: Used in anger today and completely faultless. Bikes are retained firmly, no wobble no rattle and the electrics all work superb.
5.0 out of 5 stars Found it to be sturdy
It was easy to assemble despite some of the reviews only using one e bike seems very sturdy on our motorhome not traveled with it yet time will tell.
3.0 out of 5 stars Inadequate wheel supports for stated wheelbase range
Generally solid, well-made and reasonably easy to figure out assembly - though the instructions are poor. BUT though advertised for bikes up to 120 cm wheel base, the wheel supports are only 87 cm wide tip-to-tip. The kit contains one pair of clip-on plastic extensions, which increase this to 105 cm - but they have to be levered off again whenever the rack is folded for storage. If both your bikes need the extensions, you'll need to buy another pair.I'm not confident that the extensions are sturdy enough to hold the 27 Kg 118cm-wheelbase Ebike I have ordered.
5.0 out of 5 stars Could do with clearer assembly instructions but don’t let that put you off.
Bought for grandkids bike transport to seaside caravan and back. As other reviews a bit of a faff to assemble, a good quality picture would help, and a 50/50 chance of connecting lights up as again not very well described, and you can only check after fitting on car. I have also glued the bolt and nut of the locking mechanism into the black plastic wheels, which means much easier fitting as both bits are captive rather than having to juggle with 4 free bits while bent double over the rack. Carries two bikes well and after the first use it gets easier and quicker to fit, 5 minutes and it’s done even as a geriatric pensioner following open heart surgery. Had roof versions of bike carriers but following above I can’t stretch or lift onto car roof so this is a godsend and much better to drive with. No bounce or movement and more importantly no wind noise even at motorway speeds or plus. Only negative is that I bought the two bike version and with hindsight should have had the 3 or even the 4 bike model. I was concerned about the weight on the tow bar but shouldn’t have been. Altogether a well made product which I am very pleased with and well worth the 2 hours plus to assemble.
1.0 out of 5 stars Poor design and quality
Bought this thinking it being Witter would have been a quality item, couldn't have been more wrong. The folding light clusters are not up to the job, first time use I caught one with my leg, the casing cracked and one of the small plastic retaining lugs snapped. Also the handle locking mechanism is poorly designed, you have to turn the key to release the lever, due to the positioning of the lock this is very awkward. A friend has the Halfords equivalent, far and away better design and quality.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for money, thought a little tricky to assemble
For the money I paid (£151.59 for the ZX202 in the 2024 Spring sale) this is a superb item. Yes, as others have said it was a little tricky to assemble since the instructions are a somewhat lacking. I had two difficulties on assembly:1) Fitting the lights to the tailgate. The lights seem to be in a different order to the picture in the instructions. For the UK, fit the reversing light cluster on the left and the fog lamp cluster on the right. Same as my car - seems obvious now but I was doing the assembly in the house.2) Fitting the red handle that activates the tilt mechanism - The instructions imply to bolt the tailgate to the frame before fitting this handle. It's better the fit the handle first and then bolt on the tailgate.

Robusto
Lleva sobre 1 hora y media su montaje. Encaja perfectamente en una bola de remolque europeo. Una vez encajado, lleva un tornillo grande que hace el apriete con la bola. El único pero que le pongo es que es muy pesado.
buen portabicicletas, faltan algunas piezas
