I have a car that is used occasionally, ever since I have owned it starting has been a problem, eventually it reached my thick head that the problem was that the mechanical fuel pump lost its prime over time.I saw this hand pump and decided to give it a go.Fitting is easy, while replacing the fuel filter I just added the pump into the line between fuel tank and filter.So first use, a few squeezes and the fuel was through the new filter, through the pump and I felt the change of pressure as the float bowl filled up. The car started first turn of the key!

The is the second one I have bought, used for feeding a fuel line into a filter and removing air pockets. It's good but make sure there is enough piping to prevent pinching either side. It's fairly soft, so it perishes where it bends over time.

Placed between fuel line and fuel filter and fits really well.. great suction with an arrow that points fuel direction. Great product and works well especially if you need to change your fuel filter and refill a new one or prime fuel to engine after being stood. I have left mine inline permanently in my Audi

Installed in Camper Van. Started prepping for use and found primer bulb has split at both ends. Have done Zero miles since installation. Total trash product and not suitable for use.

Fitted to my van. Good suction and little loss of that once fuel is primed... old skool but works very well...couple of weeks later fuel still where it is in the photo..Nuff said..

Rubber/plastic bulb material not man enough to pull much vacumn before in collapses in on itself. So if you are priming a Common rail fuel system it's not the best. Maybe ok for garden and house type jobs.

Gomma morbida, funziona bene. Consiglio di soffiare dentro, con la bocca, appena arrivata; l'aria dovrebbe passare solo verso la direzione della freccia, se no vuol dire che è difettosa. Su un motore a gasolio è importante perchè funziona anche da valvola di non ritorno per non far svuotare il tubo e/o il filtro. Se questo succede si potrebbero avere problemi di accensione del motore.
