    I bought this item mainly to slice aubergines and courgettes and it does the job really well as the blade is very sharp and it’s very sturdy and well made, it’s easy to use and easy to clean so I'm really happy with this item. Best mandoline I’ve bought so far.

    Great mandolin, does more than just slices. Has a depth adjustment and probs more importantly has a removable blade guard which we keep on when not in use. Slices potatoes to make your own crisps and can change the cut to make your own chips. I use it a lot more than I thought I would

    Mandolin once used are not a cuboard filler, mine is the most used gadget in the kitchen.Why. Cuts vegetables /potatoes well and fast. Cuts in to many shapes sizes. Cleans under warm water in under 30 seconds.Chips/fries up to 9mm for four people including cleaning in 5mins tops.peel left on the potatoes.Homemade potato/vegetable crisps in no time.If used to the instructions safe. This is my second, replaced because this one is better than the old one. The blades were still sharp.Recommended... 😀

    This item is exactly what I need and it is very easy to use and incredibly sharp. My only issue with it is the cut proof gloves, cut open on the first use. If not for this I would have given 5 stars!

    I love this so much! It is a good size for fitting large onions, small white cabbage, carrots etc. It is exceptionally sharp....it really puts my previous Mandoline to shame!It's very easy to clean. A little push then a simple turn of the dial and you have 2 uses for slicing,or julienne . One part lifts so that cleaning the very sharp blades, especially the julienne blades helps a lot or if needed the rotor with blades comes off if you want to put in water or dishwasher.I find it very sturdy and it stands up comfortably and no wobbling during use.There are a pair of protective gloves which are a blessing. The vegetable holder is a good one but I've never used one.It's a little gem. I highly recommend thisThey really have thought of everything

    All the 5 stars is one of the reasons I purchased this. Did nobody actually use this before rating it ???It seems sturdy enough, blades are sharp ( although mine turned up with a little chunk knocked out of the middle)This has a major design flaw. The variable thickness slicer does NOT lock to the required thickness.For example if you set 5mm at the beginning of a potato, the slices will progressively get thicker until the last few slices are maximum thickness of 9mm. If you want even slices you have to constantly keep resetting the adjuster to the required thickness.The problem with the design is the fact it uses and eccentric cam to adjust the height of the plate to vary the thickness of the cuts.Not a problem if the cam locks in place, but this one doesn't, just rather a weak ratchet tries to stop it rotating is where it fails.As most people know any pressure on an eccentric cam that is off centre will cause it to turn.If it had a lock at set thickness's like when engaging the julienne blades this would be perfect.Until then, as a slicer its not fit for purpose.This is going back.

    Den fungerar mycket bra och är extremt skarp i början, men för att behålla skärpan bör dentas isär för rengöring, torkas och eventuellt slipas i framtiden. Det finns ingen bra förklaring till isärtagandet och rengöringen, så jag använder blomsprej och matpinnar för att ta bort rester säkert och effektivt.Det är lite krångligt att sätta ihop den helt korrekt varje gång och vill gärna bli lite sned tills man lyckas. I övrigt är den jättebra och stabil. Använd gärna en bakplåt för uppsamling under och packa inte undertill.

    Received my mandoline today, the Bolo bag was open, the box was bruised, and the food holder was missing. I'm not too happy but I really needed it and I tried it out with the provided protective gloves. Slicing, large julienne and smaal julienne is working great so I won't return it but someone really need to check either the product when sending it out or when delivering it to the customer.

    El precio podría parecer elevado, pero merece la pena invertir un poco y asegurar un buen funcionamiento.El corte es muy fácil, preciso y ajustable.Para mi, lo más importante es lo robusta y estable que es (parece grande, pero las patas se pliegan y puede guardarse bien), permitiendo un rebanado fácil y seguro.Además, se puede meter al completo en el lavavajillas, lo que la hace muy fácil de limpiar.
